An abomination. As I was finishing scraping the dried-on crud off the inside of my spoon, I turned it over to find a little was stuck on the underside as well. As I was pointing it out and commenting to my guest, the waitress showed up and took our buffet order as if nothing was wrong. Now, this was about 10 in the morning, so we doubted she was on autopilot. We went up and grabbed the last two plates and upon returning to the table, my guest speculated the spoon debris was probably pancakes, as they were stuck in the dish. The waitress returned a few minutes later and offered to take our plates. We said that since there were no clean plates, we preferred to hang on to the ones we had. She said "fine" and left. About 5 minutes before the bar closed, about 6 clean plates showed up. On a hunch, we checked out the lav. Now, before you dismiss the overstuffed can, notice the lack of hand towel dispensers and ask yourself how long do you suppose it took to get that full?

We sometimes overlook certain businesses such as Eat N Park. My family has been going to this Eat N Park for over 20 years now. Why? Consistent and hearty food (we mainly eat breakfast here). I myself enjoy the Original Breakfast smile with sausage. My wife always gets an egg white omelette with veggies. Good portions for the price and done consistently. Friendly service and bright open space inside. If your in this area drop in you won't be disappointed!

My visit was a good one . We were seated right away and our server was friendly and attentive. My food was a bit on the room temperature side but it tasted flavorful. The seating was comfy. They have a salad bar but it wasn’t up and running. The coffee is a bit a strong side. And it’s a little bit more expensive than it should be. Also the doors for the restaurant and the bathroom are not handicap Accessible. They do have handicap parking but not a hole lot.

Let’s start with, only if there was a review title. Cutting corners, going down hill We will have to say it has been a few months back at eat n park. Friend was in the mood for the turkey dinner. Thought it would have been a real turkey carved and when supplies would be out they would not serve. Tasty but disappointed it was some other kind closer to the sandwich like turkey. Spouse ordered omelette and requested x toppings. Well I recommend checking your bill as it priced as a veggie and then charged for the sausage and mushrooms. 101 class in waitressing is disclosure. He did not get the veggie toppings plus so substitutions or maybe have even recommended the senior citizen omelette. Last was me. I was so in the mood for salad and the bottomless soup. We all love the eat n park signature soup until now. Salad bar “Aces” it was all the toppings which looked fresh, just no long the mixed greens just iceberg. That day I was ok with that. Now the soup. Chicken noodle was 1st. As I was so looking forward to that spoon scooping the broth I used to know with the modifies…. That first bite. Either the 11/2 cooks GOT to go or eat n park has to admit they are cutting corners. The broth was watery, no heavy yellow broth chicken bouillon cube taste. Oh, and now that bite I mentioned was not the taste of chicken noodle, I would saw a taste of dishwashing soap. So I switched to the winter cold comfort of chili. Color and beans were all there, but there was no meat. So that day call it bean soup and no chili word permitted. To end my story and the context of eat n park bedding to make changes, is the stomach of steel I have. Well the salad bar only meal did not nightly cut it. Only hope they change their ways and fix for a 3month return never sooner until I...

I was very disappointed in the service we got. We walked out. Yes the place was a bit busy but that is understandable and we know this due to the so called ongoing pandemic and the so called shortage of help.

I got seated and the person I was waiting for showed up about 5 minutes after me. The waitress came over and asked me what i would like to drink. Got me my drink while I waited. That was the only time she was quick. Once my other guest arrived is when things went down hill.

The waitress came back and asked her for her drink order. She said coffee and boom she was gone. Comes back with the coffee no creamer. We had to ask for that and a breakfast menu. She got a little huffy and also saw we both had coupons and said separate checks.

I watched as she waited on her other tables there was a six top seated after us. She got thier drink orders and food orders. The table beside us got their food and she walked on by and we were still not waited on. The six top is now getting theier drinks. Went back to the six top with their soups. Again us still not waited on or even acknowledged. There was a girl cleaning tables she over heard us talking about not being waited on and she came over saying she was sorry but was willing to take our order. The hostess was upset that she was helping us but again told her to clean the table cause she needed to seat more people. From a distance you can her our waitress saying I will right with you ladies.

With all of this we decided it was time to leave. Knowing a bus person wants to wait on us. Hostess wanting to seat more people and a waitress not caring. Left $3.00 on the table to cover the drinks.

Went to Cranberry Eat N Park with the best...

I don't usually eat at places like this but I'm in the area at a training seminar and have few options. This seemed like a good choice for a few reasons, their website allows you to view menu items and subtract or add ingredients, they are reasonably priced and within walking distance. I really like the website because I have some special dietary needs (low salt) so I could make some better choices. I went there both days for dinner. Yesterday I had the baked cod. It was definitely fresh and not frozen. Portion was about 4 ounces so it was a perfect size for me. Baked potato and carrots on the side. Carrots we're standard steamed baby, not bad but not great. The salad bar is decent, fresh vegetables, some standard items like coleslaw and potato salad. I did indulge in the blackberry pie, actually pretty good. Crust was buttery and flaky, berries were while and didn't taste like they came from a can. $20 so a good value. Today I had the super burger, no sauce, cheese or pickles with side if fries. Double burger with thin patties. I'm guessing it's their answer to the big Mac. Beef was tasty and juicy. Fries were standard restaurant fries, nothing special. Unsweetened iced tea was good. I indulged again (so weak) in the Dutch apple, just ok. Should have had the blackberry again. $14 so again...
