If you’re a fan of authentic, slow-smoked barbecue, Bandana’s BBQ in Maryland Heights is a must-visit! From the moment you walk in, the warm, inviting atmosphere and the mouthwatering aroma of smoked meats let you know you’re in for a treat.
The star of the show is the meat—perfectly smoked, tender, and packed with flavor. Their dry-rub technique allows the rich, smoky taste to shine through, and with their selection of signature sauces, you can customize every bite to your liking. The pulled pork is juicy, the brisket melts in your mouth, and the ribs have just the right amount of smoky char.
Beyond the meats, their side dishes are just as impressive. The baked beans are rich and savory, the coleslaw adds a refreshing crunch, and the fried corn is a must-try. Everything tastes homemade, adding to the down-home, Southern-style feel of the meal.
The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a great experience. Whether dining in or taking out, the quality is consistently excellent.
Overall, Bandana’s BBQ in Maryland Heights is a fantastic spot for barbecue lovers. Whether you’re craving a hearty meal or looking for a great place to bring family and friends, you won’t be disappointed....
Read moreI got the nachos, but swapped for Brisket/Pork instead of chicken, when I tell you this was one of the best BBQ nachos I've had I ain't kidding, and I'm a picky dude when it comes to my BBQ 🤣
The service was awesome, staff seemed to be having a good time joking and laughing together which added a light-hearted vibe to the place. I always appreciate when management lets their team have fun like this place seems to, not just be human robots - so it was a dope experience.
Some other good notes:
ADA compliant, great parking for handicapped spaces and well enough room to maneuver a larger van around if you have a larger vehicle. When we were there there was a charter bus pulled up for a big group and we still had plenty of space in the lot and in the restaurant.
The flavors of the in-house BBQ: If I recall correctly there were 5 choices of their sauce to try, which made every bite super fun trying out different combinations and such. They have sweet, smoky, hot, and a few other types of vibes, my favorite was the Chicago sweet.
It didn't break the bank by any means, we had great service and plenty of refills, the music was at a good level, and all around people seemed to be in a good mood.

Read moreMe and my coworker were rather looking forward to our experience at Bandanas for lunch. When we first got there we were happy with how quick our waitress came and served us. We asked what she recommended and that we were quite hungry. She recommended the lunch platter without informing us how much meat would come with it. When the food came out we were impressed that it was so quick even though it was busy inside. After taking my first bite of the brisket it made sense why it came out so quick, it tasted microwaved or as if it was sitting under a lamp for a while. The potato salad was luck laster and my fries had absolutely zero seasoning on them, and when I grabbed the ketchup bottle to give the fries some flavor the bottle was empty. My coworker and I both agreed that the dr pepper was extremely watered down. We were both flabbergasted at the portion sizes. For 20 Dollars I got 4 pieces of brisket, a handful of fries, and a bowl of potato salad. When we got our check we about the portion sizes and our server was rude and told us that the lunch platter is much smaller than the dinner platter. I would recommend not coming here and rather head across the...
