Overall we had a great time,, we were a party or 4 and we got the mix and match 2 entree's & an appetizers, (which is a good deal in our situation) however when our food came out, it didn't take long to see why they run the special,, let's just say it's not like I remember it being, my Mother compared it to a children's meal🧐& honestly I somewhat agree.. we loved the food though! &In the end surpringly we had leftovers to take home ;) our waitress was pretty awesome!🤔 (I cannot think of her name off hand but I will be sure to come back to this message when I figure it out& post/add it to my comment/review so that she can get the recognition that she deserves!) Things seemed to be a bit chaotic, as to be expected when we went on a weekend but she handled herself wonderfully🤗, she even took on responsibilities of other employees that did not appear to be doing their job at hand, but it didn't slow her down what so ever! 👏🌹She was relatable, yet respectful, polite, yet down to earth, she was welcoming when so many servers are there just for the money (and it shows), she really went the extra mile to make sure all her tables were happy! Aside from that and the quantity of food being smaller than usual, my Mom received her steak 🥩 (in which was supposed to be Medium🔎) basically raw!! I prefer my steak a bit on the Rare side myself and even I wasn't able to stomach the raw meat that they had sent to our table. Of course our amazing waitress was on top of her game and took my mom's steak back to the kitchen to be thrown back on the grill and cooked to her liking,, so we thought! 🤦🏻♀️ Not even 5 minutes went by and the steak 🥩 was already replated and back on our table for my mom to inspect, THIS HAPPENED A TOTAL OF 3 TIMES🙄😤!! Everytime they brought her steak back, the meat looked like it had never even touched the grill!! 🤷🏻♀️ The cook was in such a rush that I think he may have been microwaving her plate when we specifically told them it was super undercooked& so raw that the middle was mushy and Moo'ing! Nevertheless on the 3rd attempt the Manager, Cook& Waitress finally decided to remove the steak from our check and let her take home the raw one to cook up herself at home 😳🤯 I was a bit mind blown about the resolve but at least she still eventually got her 🥩 Steak! Lol we do not blame the Waitress whatsoever and would love to praise her for how she handle the chaotic situation (so I'll definitely be back with her name asap so everyone can show her the love she deserves!🤗 We did in fact like all of our other meals, and had a great time! Read moreIf I can give it zero stars I would now my wife and I went out for a lunch date last week really unhappy with my waiter I do not remember his name but I do know that my wife and I were seated we ordered our drinks and food I was surprised that the food and the appetizers were brought out within five minutes apart but due to the business been slow it’s that time of day it was understandable the waiter left he brought us our food and drinks but what bothered me is under 30 minutes he brought my check to the table not even asking if we needed or wanted anything else how do I know it was under 30 minutes because my wife and I were actually watching something on the phone he did not ask if I needed or wanted anything else before he brought us our check I was getting ready to order more drinks and a dessert but because he brought us a check I felt rushed we paid the bill and left I left him a note on the receipt informing him that we felt rushed and he did not ask if we wanted and or needed anything else he was not happy with my note and proceeded to follow me outside telling me that he was only doing his job I informed him that it would’ve been nice to ask if we needed or wanted anything else before he brought us our check I don’t know who does the training but it still would’ve we been polite if you would’ve asked if we needed or want anything else I think at minimum he should at least be retrained but unfortunately like I said it was about a week ago and I am just now informing Applebee’s I told him that I was very unhappy my wife was very unhappy mainly due to the fact that on very rare occasions do we get to spend lunch together her and I both made it a special point to spend the time together and we decided to go to Applebee’s because normally the service at minimum has always asked if we needed something I heard the general statement can be made about asking if the customers need or want anything else by the way the hostess was very polite we were seated quickly and we were informed about the QR code and that’s the waiter would be with us in a minute I am going to say it was last Wednesday approximately 130 2 o’clock our waiter was a young man I hope it narrows it down to whom...

Waitstaff was great as usual...work together well. Ordered a drink when I first got there...some kinda Rum Slushie. Never came. Asked about it 4 times during my meal...was told each time they only have 1 blender at the bar, I'm gonna have to wait. So I cancelled it as I was getting ready to leave...had to wait for a manager to approve taking it off my bill... whole party left, but me. The big kicker was, my wife ordered a hot tea, with cream. After 10 minutes, she asked again. It came...told they couldn't find any cream, and told us we had to buy a 99 cent kids meal milk to use. Am I petty...nah. Any other restaurant would have poured some behind the scenes and sucked it up for not being stocked. Bill was over $100.00 Gonna take them out of my family rotation for a while. It's always the small things that get in your crawl. Both these could have been avoided. Very unfortunate, the big things you were spot on. 12/14/23. With your response...Applebee's Towson just got a new patron. A canned answer doesn't cut it. If you get someone who really cares and leaves fair reviews, he kinda expects the same. Should have said. This is not our normal care...as you know... Please try us again...and get a free drink...and we guarantee creamer whenever you need it. It was unfortunate. I would have come back.
