My friends and I have been to this restaurant many countless times over the years. On many occasions we've had issues with slow service but last night was, by a distance greater than humans are capable of measuring, the worst I've ever seen. We went in to watch the NFL draft and take advantage of the all you can eat wings promotion. Starting off with the positive, BWWs atmosphere is near perfect for watching an event like the NFL draft. There are tons of TVs all over the restaurant that you can see from anywhere and the sound system is great. Unfortunately the positives come to an abrupt end once the restaurant has to actually do restaurant things.
The night started off poorly when, after waiting more than 40 minutes to be seated, we sat around for 30 minutes waiting to order drinks then another 45 minutes after that waiting to order our food. Out of morbid curiosity I decided to start a stopwatch to see how much time it would take to have food in front of me after I ordered. 45 minutes goes by and half of our tables food comes out and it's all incomplete (missing dipping sauces) and incorrect (burger missing toppings that were specifically asked for). No silverware or napkins were provided at any point during this time, because obviously you wouldn't need those in a restaurant where the main attraction is sticky and spicy chicken wings anyway. More time goes by (so much that we started only half-joking about whether or not ordering it for doordash pickup would be faster) and a couple more entrees come out, along with my fried pickles which were HALF the size of a normal order of fried pickles at BWW (but still full price of course) and not cooked well. The most egregiously insulting part of the whole thing was that no one in the entire restaurant was getting refills at all (again, in a restaurant that serves spicy chicken wings not sure why anyone would want those), so people started getting up and walking over to the soda machine to get their own refills. It happened so many times that everyone (INCLUDING THE EMPLOYEES!!!!!) were clapping and cheering for the customers who were refilling their own drinks.
I was the one person at my table who never got my entree (not even part of it). On this review I am putting "other" for "what did you get" because I didn't actually get my dinner. I asked the waitress to be honest and tell me if I had a chance to get my food at all, because if not I wanted a check with only the full-priced-but-half-sized fried pickles order on it so I could just leave. Her excuse was that the kitchen was backed up because everyone was ordering the same thing (no kidding, its a wings place, what did you expect people to order, a tofu burger????). At this point I was beyond fed up. I had been waiting for almost 2 hours (total time in the restaurant was more than 3) since putting my order in and couldn't wait to pay so I could just leave and finally get dinner from a GAS STATION. The attached photo shows what my previously mentioned stopwatch was at while I was walking out the door after starting it when we ordered. Needless to say this was the final straw. I wouldn't come back to this BWW if it were the last remaining source of food on earth. Your money would be better spent placing a bet on the Browns to win the SB and the White Sox to win a WS in the same year. By far and away the worst dining experience I've ever...
Read moreMy advice is to STAY AWAY from this location! I used the app to place a pick-up order for 60 wings of varying flavors. They are very slow and the staff is not very professional. #1 - It took approximately 1 hour to complete the order despite an estimated time of 30 minutes. #2 - The Wings-To-Go containers were only half full. Thus I only received 30 of the 60 wings I had paid for. I called immediately, but was refused a refund or even a partial refund, but if I returned they would give me a fresh order of 60 wings. #3 - Despite not living very close to this location, I had to go back to the store and they did not recreate my order as promised over the phone. #4 - I had to request a manager. When the manager arrived, his clothing reeked of weed & he was adamant that there was nothing he could do despite me explaining what I was told over the phone and was able to name the person I spoke with. He eventually relented stating, "Sorry you had to drive all the way back, but the best I can do is give you the missing 30 wings... take it or leave it!" Then he walked away. #5 - There were TWO separate loud, profanity-laced arguments among the staff (one at the bar & 15 minutes later a second one in the dining area) Fortunately, one of the participants in the dining-area argument walked to the kitchen area while cussing out her co-workers. But at least there wasn't a physical altercation. #6 - Despite all of this confusion, I still needed a resolution so I had to find the weed-smelling manager again. I decided that I needed to get out of this restaurant sooner, rather than later, so I asked if I could AT LEAST just get my missing 30 wings! #7 - During all of this, the lobby was filling up because the staff was more focused on arguing than seating patrons and the To-Go orders were piling up.
Overall, this place was a nightmare. But I think this was simply a normal day at this location because the one calm staff member was not phased at all and when asked if the authorities needed to be called, she said "No, they act like this...
Read moreNeeds to be put out of business. A few years ago, my boyfriend and I came to this location and despite being a slower day for them (there were plenty of empty tables), no one was at the front or came to the front to seat us. We waited for 20 minutes just to be greeted and seated, and no one came, so we left. A few months later, we thought we’d try again. We were seated at a table within a few minutes, but after waiting 20 minutes and not even seeing or being acknowledged by a waiter/waitress, we left. (The section we were in had about 3 other tables with guests). After waiting another few months to try this location again, we were seated, and our waitress did come to the table, however, prior to the waitress making it to our table, we saw a mouse run across the room, and so again, we decided to leave. A year or so later, we placed an order for pick up, and when we went to pick up the order, no one had even started making it. We spoke to a manager who was at least kind enough to refund us the money and still give us our complete order. The next time we tried this place, my boyfriend tried to call in an order. No one picked up the phone, so he placed the order online. Once he got to the location, again, no one had started the order. Today, my now husband and I decided to try this location again in hopes of a better experience. I placed our order online and went to pick it up. The order was ready before the scheduled pick up time, but it wasn’t the correct order. I had ordered boneless and was given traditional bone-in. I let staff know, and they began to correct the order, so I sat and waited, while my husband’s food was getting cold in the meanwhile. After all these years and leaving similar reviews before, we were hopeful this location had cleaned up and had better customer service, but since it seems like nothing has changed in our consecutive visits over the years, we will most rather likely not be...
