We visited The Original Pancake House in Nottingham as a party of four, and everything about our experience was fantastic. From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome, and the service was quick, friendly, and attentive without ever being rushed.
The food was absolutely amazing. The pancakes were fluffy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection — hands down some of the best we’ve ever had. Each plate was generous in portion and beautifully made, whether it was pancakes, eggs, or sides. Everything tasted fresh and satisfying. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was also a highlight and paired perfectly with our breakfast.
The atmosphere was warm, clean, and comfortable, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal together. Our entire table agreed that we left full, happy, and already planning to come back.

Read moreWell I don’t see this place sticking around long. The food was okay at best, the price seemed above average but it’s probably high rent being attached to the mall. Honestly while I don’t go out to eat often I don’t think I’ve ever spent nearly $90 for breakfast for two adults and a child. My child’s pancake meal had coffee instead of syrup and didn’t realize that until it was dumped all over the pancakes. I honestly didn’t believe it until I saw the dispenser and smelled it. Even the service staff didn’t believe it. I’m not sure how that happens especially with a child’s meal. While I don’t find ants dirty bugs I don’t expect to see them in a restaurant that just opened. It still looks like the previous restaurant that was there with brighter lighting and the new places logos up on the wall. My family will not be going back anytime soon if at all. The server was attentive and apologetic for the coffee...
Read moreI have no idea how ANYONE could say the food in this place was delicious. I was optimistic when the fresh squeezed OJ arrived. I ordered blueberry pancakes. One would expect pancakes with fresh blueberries in them. Not the case. They were small dehydrated blueberries. Quite frankly, they had no flavor, even with the whipped butter and syrup. They tasted rubbery like they were microwaved. I figured because of the name of the restaurant, pancakes would be the best option. A big fat NO.
The hash browns had no flavor, even adding salt, pepper and ketchup to them didn’t help. My husband ordered an omelette. Again, no flavor even though it was the Southwest omelette with chorizo and jalapeños.
Do yourself a favor and skip this place. Unless you like crappy...
