After my experience today I wish that I could give them a ZERO! Stopped in there today to get a bowl, the cashier rung my order up and I noticed that it was a little more than I normally pay, so I asked her if she charged me for something extra, she replied no. Upon looking at the receipt, I saw a bag charge of 10 cent, no big deal but I had never seen the charge before so I asked her when they started with that (mind you I am hold my credit card getting ready to scan and pay), when the girl next to her started talking in Spanish and then she grabbed my bag and begun taking my food out of the bag!!!
She pushed my food across the counter too me (out of the bag) still talking in Spanish.
I asked her what her problem was, I did not ask you to take my food out of the bag!!! She is smiling at this point and still speaking in Spanish. So, I asked to speak with the manager because this type of behavior was totally uncalled for and very disrespectful to a paying customer. The cashier pointed me in the direction of someone who was handling call in orders…. I proceed to talk to the “manager”, who was like “let me talk to her”, again in Spanish.
The manager, having said whatever she said to her, proceeded to continue to bag call in orders, never once responding back to me or addressing my concerns. I asked the cashier to give me the rude girls names so that I could report her.
At this point the girl (Antonia) who knows if that is her real name is smiling, rolling eyes and singing in Spanish like her behavior was something to be proud of!
Needles to say that I left the bowl right there! My family and I frequently stopped at this location because it was new, clean and we had never experienced any bad customer service until now. However my order contained white rice, I couldn’t see the pinto beans nor salsa and my bowl was covered white sauce which I did not order. There was no fajita veggies, fresh tomato salsa nor chili corn salsa. There was an inclusion of this white tata sauce which I did not order. I cannot consume white sauce and white rice as seen by this photo below. The food looked very unappetising nothing I would want to feed my dog. Unfortunately I had to throw away my meal and was unable to reach anyone since their phone is being answered by a machine. Read moreA good practice in business is to understand, the customer is always right. The team here acted as if we were wrong for questioning why we were charged for lettuce…. I think the issue here is the management team, I’m assuming that they were on staff as we see the same people each Friday night we choose to dine with this particular chipotle. Not only did they over charge us, they also spoke in Spanish and used negative language in Spanish towards us. We were humiliated and made to look like we couldn’t afford the food. We have been patrons of this chipotle and many others for a very long time and have NEVER had to pay extra for sides with our children’s meals when we shop there. We will never go back. I will also recommend clients of my local small business to eat elsewhere as I pride myself in providing top tier customer service to those who spend money with me and I expect the same when I spend my money.
