I live close by and I've been waiting for the eatery to open up! I tried the Birria Tacos and one Al Pastor Taco. The restaurant was clean and I like the open kitchen concept. Re Customer Service: everyone was friendly. Food is made to order so if your in a rush, you should not expect to be in an out. expect at least a 10min wait--For fresh, hot food Latin food, who wouldn't mind waiting! The Birria was soo tasty, tender, juicy and just a beautiful flavor bomb, the consume is authentically prepared its THICK, rich, and not runny. OMG-- I was impressed. the consume alone can be eaten! I mean, after finishing I debated about walking back to Cocineros to re-order. They were/are that good!
The Al Pastor taco was tender and tasty but no wow factor. it's enjoyable but nothing to brag about.
I also wanted to try the Horchata but it wasn't available at the time.
I will surely be back again to try other items on the menu as well as the...
Read moreI arrived around 1:20 pm and sat down to eat. I ordered 1 horchata and chicken pupusas. About 10 minutes passed and I asked the waitress if she put in my order for the horchata and she told me she did. I looked over at the kitchen and my drink was sitting on the counter. How did I know it was my drink you ask, well I was 1 of 2 parties in the whole restaurant and the other table was finishing up their food. Anyway I sat and watched the waitress go in and out of the kitchen for another 15 minutes walking pass my drink, I could've walked over and took it to my table myself. By 1:50 I had neither my 2 pupusas or my drink that was still on the counter. The two owners or managers never came over once to see if I was ok. I just grabbed my pursue and walked away. Terrible experience and it's a shame they seem to have good food but don't sit there to eat, get it to go because a 40 minute wait for horchata and pupusas is unheard...
Read moreBrand New Business so I am going to give them the benefit of doubt. Came in just as they were closing and just told them to give me something quick. They were already making chicken quesadillas so I jus said give me 2 of them. Easy. I asked for the picadillo to be placed on the side and I thought when I asked about the sour cream he said it was under the taco box.. Well to my surprise (the next day for lunch) everything was in the box with the tacos. The guac..The picadillo, and the sour cream which was on the hot taco. I didn’t eat it for dinner so I never looked in the box until today as I am about to eat lunch. I am so upset!! My tacos are wet and soggy. Why they didn’t put the loose sauces in a closed cup is beyond me!! I hope they get better with that part as time goes on because no one wants a soggy taco!!!! Other than that the place is clean and new!
I added a star for the quick response to my...
