Worst experience ever. I call in an order for 1 cheeseburger because I'm pressed for time. I get there 10 minute later, wait in line 5 minutes. Pay for my order and they tell me to sit and wait 5 minutes. Why?? I'm the only guy in the place. What's the point of taking a call in order? I drive down the street a few miles, reach in bag to get my sandwich. It's just 2 pieces of bread! I scavenge the bag and find a covered metal tray. This seems to contain ingredients to BUILD a sandwich, kind of disgusting looking. But not the sandwich I ordered! I have been working in NY for 2 months. Getting 5guys takeout a couple times a week there. NEVER had a problem. I give these guys a chance and they blow it 6 different ways! I'm done with them. I called. They offered me a free re-do. But I honestly don't even want to go back there and deal with their methods or their incompetence. I expect to be stressed out when I get to work...NOT grabbing a quick sandwich. I'm new to town so...Fuddruckers just got a chance at...

As of late, I've had burgers from Red Robin, Wendy's, and Cadillac Ranch (@the National Harbor) and ended up getting sick--swollen stomach, headache, nausea, etc. I go to Five Guys--no problems whatsoever. (I know this is subjective, but I still think it's relevant to share.) I Googled Five Guys meat supplier and found that they don't use meat with pink slime in it. I'm not saying other places have pink slime in their meat, but I notice a stark difference in how I feel after eating their burgers vs. Five Guys. If I'm going to pay for a burger, I'd prefer to not get sick afterwards. They can be a little pricey ~$8 just for a cheeseburger (double patties), but...
Read moreI really like this place. The only issue I have is that I see the 'good' workers gathering up chit-chatting over our food - without masks! - while they're working on our sandwiches/burgers. I understand the camaraderie. But, please, management, make them wear masks! I don't have to prove that their 'spits' are sprinkled all over our food. I just prefer that that possibility is eliminated. PS: During my last visit, I was actually tempted to take a video of your guys happily conversing while they were 'assembling' our...
