Hip Hop Fish & Chicken — Restaurant in Maryland

I order a 2 piece whiting dinner over the phone, literally sitting outside the store. 10 min later i walk in to get my food, asked the cashier was my food fresh she said yes, when i checked my food, my food was hard & cold. The lady checked my fish with her hands, took my food back into the back to management (Alex) he comes back out with the box in his hand, talking about the fish is good. How would you know if the is good if you did not touch it!? He really tried to debate with me about giving me fresh fish or a refund. It’s the small things that matter when running a business & it’s simply having hot food. Terrible...

3/20/2023 2nd visit. 2 pieces small lake trout, 3 dry hard chicken with parm cheese on top, French fries, slice white bread with coleslaw. Coleslaw good. I don’t eat white bread. And, I certainly don’t put parm cheese on fried chicken. I didn’t check order until I got home. I will not revisit. Approx 13.99 + tax.

1st visit 3 piece lake trout, fries, 2 slices white bread, sweet potatoes, greens and pineapple upside down cake. Pineapple missing from cake. Fish could have been fried alittle more to make crispy. Skin came right off fish. Sweet potatoes too sweet. Not creamy. Greens seasoned. Order nice.Parking available....

OMG where do I start! To say this food is good is such an insult to this place!! It’s such an understatement.. I lived in York, Pa and would make “THE RUN” to Towson, Md for this food.. turn around and go back home. The Catfish Nuggets, fries and corn nuggets are my go to meals… you’ll eat half out the box before you get home! I only wish the Staff and Restaurant matched.. forget about dining in.. it not the place. However, the food more than makes up for lack of customer service and the lack of atmosphere.
