I frequent this store often for sandwiches. Today I ordered using the app to have delivered as I couldn't go to the store. Bought three sandwiches and mine wasn't made correctly. I called the store to ask if they could make the sandwich again so I could go there and pick it up. I paid for delivery I shouldn't have to drive to get my sandwich because it wasn't made incorrectly. I ordered the mushroom sandwich, I paid extra for cheese to be added. I could not see nor taste cheese in my sandwich. The girl at the counter said that the cheese melted into the bread. I have never heard of cheese melting into bread. I wish I had taken a picture, all you see is bread no cheese. Also I paid extra for cheese, I would expect to see something. I think I'm more upset over the "I don't care mentality of the employees at the store" and the girl at the register who instead of to listening to me, kept trying to talk over me. Needless to say I asked for a refund and got lunch at Mezeh nextdoor. My money is valuable and I choose to spend it at locations that value me as a customer. This Jersey Mike's location has shown me that they don't value my business.

I go to this place quite often, the last two times however I have had an issue with my order. Last week I ordered my usual veggie sandwich, but I wanted regular white bread instead of the wrap and I was given the wrap. Today I ordered the same sandwich over the phone for pickup and requested vinegar and no oil and there was no vinegar. It's not the issue of the order taker because both times I checked the handwritten slip and the order is correct. It's the people making the sandwiches not following the order. I know some might think this is a minor issue, but as the person spending the money for the sandwich I just want it the way I want it. The team at this location is courteous and I enjoy your sandwiches, but would have liked it more if they were made the way I asked. This is a learning opportunity for the management at this location to go over these details with the sandwich...
Read moreWe were there this morning. Arrived @10 but they were not opened yet. Manager saw us standing in the rain/ snow waiting for them to open. The sign says they open at 10 am. Finally at 10:09 the manager walks as slow as she can to the door.switches the sign to open, turns and adjusts a few tables, finally turns to the door and opens it at 10:17. Once she opens the door she doest acknowledge us, just turns around and walks back behind the counter. While we are waiting to give her our order.. finally about 5 min later she asks is we are ready to order.. I tell her I've been ready since we walked in. So she takes our order of the steak and cheese. Again she turns around and walks away but left our receipt on the top counter. I took it and walked down and paid. My husband and I sit and wait for another 10 min and I said to my husband that they have not even started our order yet. Finally almost 15 min later..the manager starts our order... 25 min after we ordered our order is ready. The sub was good as always but I will go across the street to subway before I go back to this...
Read moreVery frustrating experience. This place is a poor representation of Jersey Mikes. If this had been my first experience, I can honestly say I would never go back. Fortunately, I’ve received excellent service, good food and exceptional customer service at EVERY OTHER LOCATION, namely those in and around central Virginia. The service here at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon was EXTREMELY slow and for no apparent reason. The employees are sluggish. The system of shaving, prepping and checking out here is just problematic. Where is management? People are waiting a ridiculously long period of time. Also, The sandwiches appear shorted 1 or 2 slices of deli meat. After my wait today, I requested oil and vinegar on the side. I got a very nasty look from the person prepping the sandwiches, I believe because I asked the wrong person. Apparently, that is the job of the poor cashier who has to remove her gloves every time she assists with a sandwich, and then goes back to handle money.
