Where do I even begin? My recent visit to Miski was nothing short of a culinary catastrophe, and I regret every moment I spent within its dreary walls. From the abysmal service to the tasteless food, this restaurant managed to epitomize everything that can go wrong in the dining experience. The portion sizes were laughable, as if they were trying to stretch out the minuscule portions to make it seem like a full meal. To add insult to injury, the prices were exorbitant for the dismal quality of food and service received. The dish comes with 2 sides as shown in the menu but you cannot substitute the sides for sauce. I requested an extra packet of sauce & was immediately denied and am sure the sauce would cost less than 2 sides that accompanies the meal. The host wanted to charge me extra for a packet of sauce where I only requested a single packet as I was not getting the sides with come with the dish. BURN YOUR MONEY OR DONATE IT TO CHARITY BUT NEVER GOTO MISKI.

Little did I know that the worst was yet to come. The food arrived, and it was an absolute letdown. My "dish" looked more like a sad, overcooked mess on a plate than anything remotely appetizing. The taste was equally abhorrent - bland, flavorless, and lacking any hint of seasoning. It was evident that the chef had either forgotten how to cook or simply didn't care.

I strongly advise against dining at this restaurant. Their appalling treatment of paying customers and refusal to provide even the most basic level of service make them unworthy of anyone's patronage. I implore potential diners to seek out establishments that value their customers and prioritize a positive dining experience over rigid adherence to...

I came here with my family on a Sunday night and got to try a lot of dishes. The restaurant was pretty quiet -- only one other party dining in and a few people getting takeout.

I had the ceviche mixto which has shrimp, little scallops, octopus, and calamari in addition to the fish. The sauce is really good but I wasn't a fan of the fish. It was hard for me to chew and swallow towards the end. The other seafood was decent. The Peruvian corn kernels are really good. The sweet potato was forgettable for me. Overall I wouldn't get this again but the sauce was good.

The mixed fried seafood dish was very large. The best part was the fried shrimp but there were only around 3 of those. There was also fried fish fillet (much preferable to the ceviche version), calamari, and scallop. This was a good dish but naturally quite heavy. Good portion size.

My brother got the half chicken which he said was pretty average, and another brother got the steak and egg dish. The steak had good flavor/char but was quite tough. The plantains were good.

We tried all of the sauces and they were all delicious! Super airy almost tasted whipped and excellent flavor. A joy to dip things into. This restaurant seems to really know their sauces, as that was really the highlight for both the ceviche and everything else.

Overall generous portion sizes (but more shrimp please!) and excellent sauces, average meats and fish. If I came back, I would probably get the...

Wow, I’m really disgusted. I’ve frequented this place since the beginning of this year & man, their food is so good. But I can’t overlook the unprofessionalism & outright disrespect shown to my coworker today. A Hispanic employee in the front snickered as my Muslim coworker, wearing a hijab, picked up an order for our office. & He said he was going to rip her scarf off. 2 other employees laughed at the comment. The violence shown to Muslims in America is DISGUSTING so the comment will not be taken lightly. We went back up there as a group to speak to a manager regarding the situation & no manager was present which I’m sure is a violation of Maryland state law. The employees called the manager so we could speak with her. She, instead of apologizing or offering any type of resolution for the situation, denied that any of her employees could even speak English which is a lie. All the ones in the front speak English, obviously. I just find it funny that a minority-run & possibly owned company would dare discriminate against someone. The staff is comprised of ALL minorities. Let someone had come in there calling them out of their names & threatening violence against them simply because of the color of their skin. This is UNACCEPTABLE. I will not be spending anymore...

Terrible customer service and food not true to description. Got the salmon that as you can see from screen shot, comes with rice. And when we opened meal (ordered to-go) rice was missing. We called it in to see if we could get a credit as we didn’t want to drive back to restaurant and manager shared that meal came with “very little rice” and cook said he had served it. First, I didn’t get any rice. Second, even if they’re supposed to serve “very little rice”, menu doesn’t say that nor did my plate have “very little rice”. Finally, checking with cook and taking their work for it instead of the customers word (when all I was asking for was a side credit) was the straw that broke the the camels back for me… If they are willing to lose a customer over a credit for a side, not entire meal, then theyre too desperate for a rip off and you have to wonder what other corners they cut, plenty of other Peruvian spots that will take my business.

I don’t know any other place that does ceviche so I was quite happy to see a Peruvian restaurant in the area. I’ve been here three times so far. Staff are friendly and they take our order quickly and accurately. Food was out within 15 min so it’s very hot and fresh. I highly recommend the ceviche de pescado. It’s well marinated and perfectly zesty, especially with the sauce. I also love the sweet potato with it. The portion is filling enough for two people but it’s so good, I can easily eat it all with *almost* no regrets. Also ordered the charbroiled chicken (dark meat) and lomo saltado. Both delicious and cooked to tender perfection. A little on the salty side but the green sauces keep it balanced and refreshing. The cilantro rice is fragrant and citrusy. Everything was washed down with tangy passion fruit juice, which I also recommend.
