Like almost every CF location i've ever been to, there was line at the drive-tru, but it moved quickly. So quickly, in fact, that I was AT LEAST the 10th car from the front when I pulled into the drive-thru lane. It was approximately 935pm. They close at 10pm(one of the few locations that close that late). I had my childrens orders to make as well as my own. My daughter sent me a screen shot from her chick-fil-a mobile app with her order created on it. It gave me the idea to download the mobile app and see if i could get the order placed and go inside for pickup before a got to the drive-thru speaker. The order was simple: a salad, a sandwich, nuggets, 2 fries, and 2 mac and cheese. I was barely able to complete the order before they were taking my order at the speaker so literally 5 seconds after paying in the app the person on the speaker came on. I said I made an order on the app and when she took my last name, no more than 10sec after I had completed the order in the app, she read my complete name and said it would be ready at the window. When i pulled up to the window, the order was ready as she said. The order was correct, the large fries were FULL, and i was on the road within minutes of pulling in. When i looked at the time to make sure i still had time to get Lottery Tickets it was only 6min since I pulled into what seemed like a total traffic jam of cars. It was impressive. The ONLY reason I would not give them 5 stars has nothing to do with service but is instead the design of the drive-thru and parking lot. There is a Best Buy which shares the lot as well as about 5 smaller stores. The drive-thru is at the bottom of the lot perpedicular to the main entrance's traffic flow. The car behind me was blocking the entrance to that side of the shopping center unless you drove behind the 5 smaller stores to get around. They are not double sided stores, I mean that anyone who would have wanted to go to Best Buy or those small stores would need to know to go behind the stores where the dumsters and loading docks are or be snarled in the drive-thru traffic, like it or not. If the drive thru lane did not make a final 90degree turn to set it on that perpendicular path, traffic would simply line up on the outside edge of the BestBuy lot, which is long and even if not long enough, would not snarl traffic going in or out of any of the other stores. This was 930ish at night and everything else in the lot was pretty much closed, but I had never previously gone to this Chick-fil-A location during the day because of the mahem I saw going on in that lot. Note:because of my past unpleasant experiences I decided to write a review that I surprisingly got a response . In my last review I had decided that I was not going to eat in anymore as a result of poor dining room service as the person working this area was inattentive . But, on this one particular day(7-6-19) I decided to try out my dining experience again to see if things had changed since I spoke to the owner of this location and was told that things would be different as since my last review, I have noticed that the dining host purposely avoids me and no longer speaks, waves, or even comes ones the side of the restaurant that I’m on, and I know that it’s because they know it was me who wrote the bad review on a prior date in reference to the poor service I received. Me and my wife came in to eat lunch and sat by the drive thru glass window and ate our lunch. At no time were we engaged by the dining room host , in fact they either stayed Ins the other side of the restaurant or simply walked in the back to purposely avoid renal contact with us. Again, Against my better judgment I gave it another chance and was highly disappointed . You can’t help but feel a type of way about this entire situation. Well , I wouldn’t be dining in anymore because I wouldn’t want to see employees purposely avoiding me personally because there mad about a review I wrote. Please know that there was never a negative encounter between myself and that employee, just a bad review that they took personal and decided to remedy the situation y avoiding me all together. Earlier today, I placed an order through the Chick-fil-A mobile app, but I encountered an error message. Despite the error, the payment of $18.01 was deducted from my account, and the app did not confirm whether my order was processed. To clarify the situation, I contacted the store directly and spoke with Rosemary, one of the managers. She assured me that the money would be refunded within a few days and offered to provide me with rewards and possibly free food for the inconvenience. She also took my name and number to apply the rewards to my app since I was experiencing issues.
However, after two hours, I noticed that nothing had changed on my app. I called the store again as a polite follow-up, but I was placed on hold for 40 minutes. During this time, I even placed another order, picked it up, returned to work, and finished my meal—only to still be on hold. I also heard someone pick up the phone and place me back on hold twice before the call was disconnected.
When I called back, an employee named KeKe answered. As soon as I identified myself, her attitude noticeably changed, and she dismissively asked, "What do you want? Rose is not available." She then placed me on hold again, and the call was disconnected once more.
At this point, I am frustrated—not only because I spent $18.01 without receiving any food but also due to the lack of professionalism in handling my concern. I would appreciate it if my promised rewards were applied to my account as agreed, and I would also like confirmation that my refund is being processed.
