The best part of the place is the decor. It’s kinda cute in there. Everything else is pretty bad. My husband & I spent about $50. We paid an extra $2 thanks to the fee for paying w a card. We got 2 of the chicken tenders w fries ($14 each) & one cheesesteak combo ($18 w drink & fries). Our whole order was wrong except for the drinks. Big ups to the bottled Pepsi & fountain lemonade. We got the chicken tenders w barbecue sauce on the side. They specifically asked us how we wanted it & we specifically said on the side. The girl even put a note in the computer for it to be on the side. My husband doesn’t like sauce on his food & usually gives me his sauce. Both chicken tender orders were tossed in barbecue plus an extra cup on the side so he couldn’t eat his. We gave the other to my father in law. He said it was so nasty he couldn’t finish it. So did my mother in law. And my sister in law. And my brother in law. My cheesesteak was the nastiest I’ve ever had. You can get a better one from pizza palace. All the meat was sitting on top of the bun. After 2 or 3 bites, you’re just eating bread. All of the fries were soggy (how?) & SUPER salty. Like you complained about no salt on your fries at McDonald’s type salty. & everyone in here must be training bc they all move SO SLOW. It was like watching the sloths in the dmv scene of zootopia. Sweet lord. It was not worth it. None of it was worth it. I will, obviously,...
Read moreVery seldom I will go to a restaurant or carry out when it first opens. However, today is the second day of opening. I decided to go. I thought they would have been busy, but they weren't. I was happy I could walk right in and place my order. This is their second day in they still have some kinks to iron out. Nothing wrong with that and very understandable if you know business. I ordered 2 subs and 2 fries. On one of the subs I asked for provolone and cheese whiz and on the other sub, I asked for hot peppers on the side. The young ladies had rung me up but had a hard time hearing me due to the loud music and I had a hard time hearing her as well. She assured me that my order would be right. I didn’t check my food before I left because the paper bag was stapled. I normally check my bag before I leave any store. When I got home and opened the bags, my hot pepper on the side was not in the bag. On the one sub, there was no cheese whiz. One sub was stuffed with steak and the sub barely had steak. The fries were cold and overcooked. This is my experience and I will stick to waiting a month or more before going to a new establishment. I will try again in a few months and hopefully, all the kinks will...
Read moreJust walking in, I love the atmosphere of here! The owner comes out himself and welcomes you. Very nice, professional gentleman. He knows what he’s doing around this steak sub quest. Best I’ve had around here in a while! I don’t like a bunch of stuff on my sub, I wanna taste my steak, I don’t even eat the roll at first. His steak is meaty, no flat fake meat here, the taste is out of this world! If you put a bunch of stuff on it you can’t see or touch that fact. I got provolone cheese and some onions and I was good. The fries weren’t much to look at but the taste is full flavored. No cheese whiz here!!!
Update: I should have stayed at the steak shop to eat my food. After going back and looking at my pictures, I must say I did their hoagie no justice in my pictures. When I saw a gentleman in the shop who has his delivered to his table it was spectacular! Mine as fantastical as it tasted we forget things like smellavision and taste truly isn’t a thing by pictures. Trust me you will not go wrong eating here, the closest thing I can say to explain the taste…Capt Harvey’s in Dundalk. The newer generations may not know what I’m talking about but the people from the 70’s & 80’s know what...
