I am not the type of person to write reviews on places but the interaction my family had at this location was beyond inappropriate. My husband and I were out today with our 2 and 4 year old daughters. We stopped at this location to get coffee and my oldest daughter had to use the bathroom. My daughter has a huge fear of public restrooms but since the bathroom there has individual bathrooms she said she would try to go.
My husband brings her in and goes into the bathroom and needless to say my daughters fear kicked in and she started crying and was throwing a fit (like most four years olds do at the worst times). An employee knocked on the door and asked if they were ok. Upon leaving the restroom the same employee looks at my daughter (who is coming out of a fit and still a bit teary eyed) and asked her if she was ok and my daughter said yes. Which is normal behavior at a public place for someone working checking on a customers well being. But this employee immediately jumped to thinking my husband was abusing my child. My husband explained to said employee my daughters public restroom fear but the employee still insisted on calling the police and claimed she was just acting like a “concerned mother”. For anyone with children I do appreciated the concern but insisting the idea my husband was hurting my child is absolutely inappropriate and uncalled for.
My husband went to walk out the door and he was stopped by the same employee and asked why my daughters back was red. again assuming it was from abuse. It’s summer time she got sunburnt.
I know that this world is upside down and everyone is on edge. But what gives anyone the right to question abuse AFTER being told why my daughter was upset. It doesn’t and it’s extremely rude down right unprofessional and sickening to be accused of something like that because of one temper tantrum.
My husband is heartbroken from this incident and this employee had no right to speak to him this way. Knowing the kind of father he is and how he goes above and beyond for his children having someone accuse him of this is a real punch to the gut. It’s disgusting and should be addressed somehow. Needless to say we will never go to this location again.
Be better cause that type of customer service is not what I signed up for when...
Read moreWatch out for credit card scams at this location. We waited for 15 min on the drive-through for a simple grande ice coffee. My husband paid by credit card by taping his credit card on the credit card scanner/reader the guy at the Starbucks window was holding. The guy then told us to tap again because the transaction didn’t go through. So my husband did it again. Two taps on the credit card reader within seconds. We didn’t ask for a receipt because we were in a hurry to get out after a long wait in line.
Later on, we found out we were charged for $9.19 for a $4.19 ice coffee. We called the store and was told that we had given $5 dollars tip for the $4.19 coffee. We told the person on the phone that we had never authorized the five dollars tip. The store employee insisted that we had selected the option to tip for FIVE dollars. And since it was a gratuity, they couldn’t give us any refund.
Anyone who has ever used credit card reader to pay which is almost everyone in the world knows that in order to tip a whole amount such as five dollars requires several back and forth tapings plus manually entering numbers in the credit card reader to complete the transaction. We are good tippers, but we have never tipped over 120% gratuity for a slow and not so good service. When we questioned the store about the integrity of their employee for the unauthorized tip, they told us to call the custom service at the corporate office.
We did call the corporate office as we were concerned about the possible credit card scams and we asked the store at this location to be investigated. Again we were told even by the customer service that they couldn’t refund gratuity and please contact our own credit card company. No words on whether the store or the employee has been investigated.
Watch out for credit card scams at this location. The employee(s) here may decide to give themselves a big tip and they don’t even need your authorization. So pay at your own risk and check your bill closely because tips are not refundable...
Read moreI’d like to commend the young lady working the drive thru on Thursday, December 14th, around 6pm. Not sure if she was the manager or not. But I came thru the drive thru to get my 50% drink. I could see that another customer was giving her a hard time at the front counter and by the time she got to the drive-thru window it was 6:01. She scanned my Starbucks card and since it was past the time it would allow for the discount. I told her I was here before 6pm and I wasn’t paying the $6+ for the drink. Longer story short, she gave me my drink for free and proceeded to assist another customer. I waited until I could get her attention to apologize and let her know that it was not her fault and I understood and was willing to work with her. And didn’t mean to sound as if I was arguing or anything with her and wished her a Merry Christmas. I appreciated her professionalism and the smile that she kept on her face. Retail is a difficult business and customers can be real jerks and forget that people behind the counters are just that, people with feelings as well.
I thank you for your customer service. It meant...
