Our waiter, James, was knowledgeable and helped us navigate the extensive wine list, pairing a crisp Sauvignon Blanc with our appetizers.

The food is where subway truly shines. We began with the crispy Brussels sprouts—tender on the inside with a perfectly crispy exterior and topped with a tangy balsamic glaze. For the main course, I opted for the pan-seared salmon, which was cooked to perfection—flaky, tender, and paired with a refreshing citrus beurre blanc. My companion had the slow-braised short ribs, which practically melted off the bone, served with a rich, velvety mashed potato and roasted root vegetables. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail.

Dessert was equally impressive. The chocolate lava cake, served with a scoop of house-made vanilla bean ice cream, was decadent without being overly rich, striking the perfect balance of sweet and indulgent.

I left the Owings Mills library yesterday and decided to pick up a sandwich prior to going home. I googled location but wanted to make sure I wasn’t walking around so I called to confirm location by asking what was the shop/ store next to them. I got an Indian gentleman that kept asking me to repeat myself and claiming he didnt understand what I was asking. I hang up since it was unnecessary once I spotted the signage on the wall. I walked in and jokingly asked him how he didn’t understand what I was asking then he laughed an apologized. So that done, I requested a goot long chicken teriyaki. He set up to make a 6” sandwich and I corrected him. Then I somehow notice he wasn’t wearing gloves but it didn’t really click till he was at the end of the service when I’m requesting cookies (2 vs. 3– which he picks up with a tong thankfully 🤦‍♀️) . Next thing I know .. I put my card in for payment the he coughs up phlegm , grabs a tissue from the dispenser behind him AND SPITS RIGHT INTO THE BROWN PAPER TOWEL , wrings it and tosses it in the trash. Then goes right back to tearing my receipt of the machine! At this point I’m really GROSSED OUT AND THINKING WHAT THE HECK! Meanwhile only Lord knows where his hands have been prior to handling my food. I was soo upset I contemplated not taking the food and demanding my money back but if he didn’t give it to me then It would be a LOSS and I do hate to waste food. So despite the quivering contents of my stomach , I took the sandwich for my mom and I and NUKED it in the microwave prior to eating it. Suffice to say I will not be going back to that subway store, if any at this...

I recently visited the Subway in Owings Mills, MD, and it was easily one of the best experiences I’ve had at any Subway location! The staff was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and efficient. They greeted me with smiles and even made great recommendations on how to make my sandwich even better.

The restaurant was spotless and well-maintained, which made for a comfortable dining experience. The ingredients looked fresh and were well-stocked, and the sandwich was made perfectly with just the right amount of everything. I was especially impressed by how the staff paid attention to the details, from toasting the bread to adding the perfect balance of toppings.

Even though it was a busy time, the staff handled the rush smoothly without compromising quality or customer service. They truly went above and beyond to make me feel like a valued customer, and I’ll definitely be coming back to this location.
