This is the worst experience I've had from a fast food establishment, full stop. We came as a party of 7 with 3 orders between us. Two of us pre-ordered on the app, hoping to skip the line as promoted. (hoping being the key word here) When we entered the establishment the large table that would have allowed all of us to sit together was occupied by 3 or 4 kids of one of the women who was working there. Over the course of our time there, the kids were very loud and disruptive, yelling and sometimes swearing at their mom behind the counter from the table or standing at the counter. Since the children had taken over the large table we had to sit at two separate tables, back to back, which was awkward but doable. The cleanliness of the tables was subpar, as they were sticky and when we tried wiping up a mess the napkin stuck to the table and remained there for the remainder of our stay. The couple in our group who did not order on the app actually got their meal first, though it was incorrect. One of the sandwiches they received was not the one they ordered. When brought to their attention the staff switched it out relatively quick, as if they had the right sandwich just waiting to be handed out and the person bagging up the meals had no idea which one should go where. A statement supported by the fact that this happened a second time with one of the app orders. That order showed "in progress" when we walked in still took nearly 15 minutes after arriving to receive. The worst offense though was my wife and I's order. A simple order of 2 of the taki meals, a nugget meal, and a frosty. It took 35 minutes to get our order, multiple app orders came and were fulfilled while we waited. And when our food finally was ready disappointment is an understatement. On top of the fact the rest of our party already received their meals and were done eating, the chicken for the sandwiches were over fried and hard, the toppings were just slapped on(and I think missing the corn), and we did not get the bags of takis that were part of the meal. My drink, which was filled from behind the counter, tasted like the employee filled my cup with water while looking at a coke. My wife on the other hand found a hair on the inside of her cup and ended up not eating or drinking anything but the frosty, which in of itself was weak flavored and gritty. While I was waiting at the counter to get our missing Takis, the mother of the screaming children yelled back at them in between taking an order and ringing out another patron. I will continue to do business with Wendy's, but it will NEVER be at...
Read moreMy husband went to pick up 2 Dave’s double burgers and 2 fries from this Wendy’s today around 830pm. He got home about 845 pm. I knew the fries wouldn’t be super hot but they weren’t even like warm they were cold. The I opened up the burger which was also cold to the touch. It looked extremely dry like they poured a lot of ketchup and Mayo on the burger to try to make us believe it had been freshly made. I took the burgers back only to be greeted by the nastiest manager who told me they were closed but the doors were clearly open. Understandable it’s COVID. So I just said let me explain my situation and she told me to go outside and once you get to the drive thru your order will be ready. Got to the drive thru and there is a vehicle parked there. I asked the driver if everything was okay and she said no the manager told her it would be 10 minutes before they could even take her order. 😧I drove around and the manager threw 2 bags at me and told me my husbands order was at 756pm which I knew was incorrect because he called me before he made the order and he didn’t leave the house until approximately 815pm. I checked the burgers again and cold to the touch. She apparently reheated the fries in the microwave. I gave her the burgers back and asked for a refund which she argued with about the she tells the cashier to give the money to her so she could give it back to me. She “the manager” then throws the money at me. By the way at least 6 vehicles came through the driveway and left because they would not take any orders. I called Wendy’s corporate office and now waiting for a response. ...
Read more(Original post was made in March or April of 2020 When resturaunts were just opening back up.) I really love the breakfast and the convenience of this location. However, the staff here wants to argue with the customers regarding the coffee. Their Bunn is not calibrated for their half pot pre-measured coffee bags. What they are charging you for is brown hot water with no coffee flavor. Do not drink the coffee here.
(20200825 Update) Since posting this earlier review, I realize that at the time Wendy's just began serving breakfast... I get and understand growing pains. However, they've been doing it a while now. Still not getting it.
Background: I've worked food service and have managed Fast Food. I've worked breakfast. It can be done, well and efficiently.
I get off work at 7:00 I am in their lot by 7:25. Door sign indicates breakfast starts at 6:00. More often than not I am following manager into parking lot. If I'm not already there. I do not think they have made hot coffee in two months. I pull in, order my breakfast, when the box isn't telling me they are closed (7:30)... I am told we don't have hot coffee. We have cold coffee.
I want hot, black coffee, with my breakfast...
I pass a Burger King on my way to Wendy's, or the Dunkin on my way home. Both are open on time. Complete breakfast menu is available at both locations. Or go to the Wendy's on Eastern Ave or Frederick Ave. They are staffed and open wanting...
