Skyline Chili — Restaurant in Mason

My fiancé and his mom took me here for my first Skyline experience, and it did not disappoint!

They took me to this location in particular, since it had something like unique they had heard about: trains racing on tracks on the ceilings! It was super cool to witness them chugga-choo-chooing along, set to backdrops of mountains and countryside. It was so neat to watch while we ate!

Our waitress was also super kind and funny! She warmly welcomed me to my first Skyline experience and made sure our service was prompt, kind and attentive.

I got two classic Cheese Dogs with some fries and a drink, which also came with a packet of oyster crackers. The cheese dogs were hot, delicious, and the cheese started to melt perfectly. My fiancé got his own helping of cheese dogs, and his mom got their chilli.

I loved the food and my experience here! My only regret was not trying one of their chilli dogs; I will make sure come...

The coney dogs were exceptionally small, literally like a ≤1.5oz hot dog, about as long as the palm of your hand and the thickness of a slim jim. And the buns were completely soaked through and just inedible slimy mush. In short, it was the worst chili cheese dog I've ever had, and that's including places like Rally's/Checker's, Sheetz, Sonic, and Circle K. Truly abysmal. I ended up just throwing away the buns and eating the contents with my hands and a spoon, But since they were so small, out of three hot dogs it was only about six bites in total. If I could have afforded to waste the money I would have just thrown it away entirely and bought something different at a different restaurant.

The chili is nice, so I'm sure it's good in a normal bowl with the normal accompaniments, but you can definitely pass...

We ate at the Kings Island skyline. The service was horrible. We put our order in , the waitress forgot most of our food , put our order in again still she still forgot our main meal of chili cheese dogs.We left there eating only our salads because she took so long we didn't have any longer to wait for our food a third time , which she probably would have forgot again anyhow. When I went to pay I told them what happened all they offered us was a sorry. I was very disappointed, leaving the restaurant hungry after being at Kings Island all day and a long 4 hour drive home. By the way they were not very busy at all ,so it's not like she was bogged down...
