Worst service we have ever had!! We literally just walked out of here, after complaining to three separate people. We walked in and were told to sit anywhere, so we chose the second to the wall booth. No one was around us and there were only three other tables at this time. We were given menus and the waitress walked away. After nearly 6 minutes, the waitress returned and asked for our drinks. We both wanted water (we only drink water as it is). She rushed off and we had to stop her so we could place an appetizer order. We asked for calamari and crab rangoon. She then took our menus in a hurry. We already knew what we wanted, but we still wanted to point it out on the menu.. so my husband got up and took a menu back. We waited, and waited, and waited some more. Then our crab rangoon appetizer came. My drink was empty, but it was not our server, so I didnt mention it. We finished that and the calamari came out. There was MAYBE 8 pieces, and it was obviously overcooked. We then FINALLY got to place our order. I asked for the beef and broccoli with egg drop soup and a crunchy roll. I asked if they had egg friend rice, since it was not on their menu, and the server responded, "I dont know", so I said that if not, white rice is fine. My husband asked for an American Roll and another specialty roll. The calamari was not good, but we still ate it. We sat for another 10-15 minutes after eating and my beef and broccoli came out, without any soup or any of my husbands food.. I began to eat and about halfway through, he got up and complained. He wondered where my soup was and why he still had nothing.. the two servers apologized and rushed soup out. IT WAS THE WRONG SOUP!! My husband was irate. The other server, not ours, explained she was new and apologized. We both have worked in a restaurant and know that, new or not, you dont neglect a table. We got up and walked to the counter to say we were leaving. The chef and two servers tried to convince us to stay by saying that the crunchy roll was ready, but once again, that was my food. Still nothing for my husband. They offered half off, but we declined and left. Our server literally NEVER checked on is, refilled our drinks, or apologized to us for her mistakes or lack of care. We spend over an hour and a half here, for literally 6 crab rangoon and 8 pieces of calamari. It was a complete upset and embarassment to their business. We will not return, nor will...
Read moreExcellent food! Have been here many times over the past year. Last night we got there shortly after 6 PM, and I was expecting to wait since it was Valentine's Day. We got seated right away, but we were one of the last parties to do that. A few minutes later every seat was filled - at the bar too and a few seats for waiting, and a bunch of people standing. We always start with the steamed Gyoza dumplings because they are great. My dexterity isn't great and they are slippery so I gave up trying to grab them with chopsticks. Rolls we ordered were Valentine's, Black Dragon, Manhattan, Foxy Lady, and Mason. Every roll I had was excellent. Tenji is our go-to spot for sushi and I look forward to returning many times.
Update 4-26-2025 Started with some steamed Gyoza. Hot dumplings and great appetizer as always. Next was Yaki Udon with shrimp. The noodles were large and soft, the vegetables cooked perfectly such that they were still a little firm, and the sauce was yummy. Plenty of flavor but I had a bite with some soy sauce and it was good too - not overpowering. For rolls we had the Pink Lady, Black Dragon, and Summer. All were excellent and they each had a district different flavor profile. One of my favorite places and I look forward to my next visit.
Update 7-18-2025 Visited again today and enjoyed some of the best I've had there. I didn't hear what my family ordered as I was on a call, but I know one of them was a Mason roll. They were all spectacular but that was the winner!

Read moreHorrible experience. My husband ordered the combo Hibachi with steak and scallops. However his meal was dilvered with steak (that was overdone) and salmon. No big deal, right? Just have the kitchen fix it. However, they let his plate sit in the kitchen while they replaced the salmon with scallops. The waitress came back with the same overcooked steak and now stone cold noodles and veggies. The manager offered a 10% discount for my husband's uneatable meal. Which was really more of an insult than anything. Do not recommend.
Edit in response to the owner reply: We were in no way rude to our waitress. She did indeed repeat the order back correctly as steak and scallops. I believe the mistake was made by your kitchen. We certainly did not throw our credit card at the waitress and she was very apologetic. A simple mistake was made and it should have been a simple fix : re make the plate. But that is not what happened. You allowed the food currently on my husband's plate to become cold and uneatable while the salmon was replaced with scallops. And instead of coming to the table to hear our very valid complaint you told the waitress to offer an insulting discount. Also, if a customer made my staff cry ( which we didn't) I would want to address it with them at the time. You showed no interest in our opinion and completely ignored the problem by not coming to speak with us. And now you are lying on the internet to make me seem like the bad guy. You...
