Typically over the last 22 years we've had great service here. Today,a young waitress named paige ended that. I asked if we could have a corner booth that was empty. It needed cleaned, but I'd wait. Instead she cleaned the table near the bathroom against the doorway to the office. No biggie. We sat. She gave us our drinks. Proceeds to take care of 2 other tables, clean a 3rd table complete with silverware which we still did not have so I had to use my tea bag to stir my sugar in to my tea. Yes,I tried flagging her down but she was too busy talking to the table of teens she sat after us. After waking 12 minutes then seeing the teens getting their utensils first I calmly got up and asked for another server. This way we could eat and she could visit. This girl starts running her mouth when the other server is standing there saying "are they really that upset about some silverware?" The manager comes over, calmed the now escalated situation since her very hung over teenage friends decided to jump in. He was AMAZING. He asked what happened as paige is Still telling us to leave-uh no. We just wanted to eat. As we tried to tell our side, she stood there being rude. The manager sent her away and said he was sorry,he would handle her but that our meal was free. We objected saying we were very willing to pay,we just wanted someone else that would take care of us. So he took over, and did amazing. 3 times I heard this paige girl being so disrespectful to her manager in front of customers, then she proceeds to apologize to the teens about how rude we were. Really? So we then told the manager this as well. Despite all this we left her a note saying we do understand she's under a lot,and we regretted how things went down. I encouraged her to respect her boss and customers and learn from today. And we did leave her a tip. Why? Because we prefer to put out encouragement and offer chances to reflect and grow. The manager really made all the difference and our...
Read moreWe went to the store #933 on October 8, 2023. At 1150pm. We arrived with people waiting for a table which is understandable. But there were so many dirty dishes on tables ands on the counters. We were waiting for about 20 minutes and people started walking out of restaurant. When it was our turn and Once a couple got up I went to the table and was stand next to it. The person that was supposed to be our server was cashing out someone and started giving me and our group a dirty look. But other than addressing us the server ignored my group and told the couple behind us that she was clean the next table to server them. After about another 10 minutes she comes over to the table I am standing at and disrespected me. She stated in an attitude “ are you waiting on a table” and I replied “yes ma’am.” She immediately replied “I can tell”. After she cleaned the table she stated welcome to Waffle House. I said thank you. I shook my head and she ask if there was something wrong and I said no it is okay, we She states this is Waffle House and this is what you get. She asked what to drink and we all replied “ could we get waters please” and she said please and thank you take you a long way. At this point was wife was done. We told her that we would go to a different Waffle House because of the disrespect. And we left. I have been to the location #933 so many times because we do to kings island all the time and we always had a great experience. But this was so disrespectful and I wish I got the servers name, she is dark hair and put it up in...
Read moreFilthy, nasty, just gross everywhere.the waitress laughed as we entered and I asked where do we sit. She said " if you can find a Clean table you can sit there". To be clear there are less than a dozen tables in the whole place. And every one was dirty and I mean food chunks and napkins etc, not just a little dirty. I came from the west coast and wanted to try Waffle house so I cleaned my own table and seated my family there. The waitress was utterly clueless (brain dead?). We ordered three drinks. The soda fountain was approximately ten feet away. Between there and our table she lost a drink! (seriously). I asked as she sat down two drinks "where is my soda" she was bewildered. And took 8min walking in circles to decide to get a new one. I decided to join in looking. And the soda was on the fountain where it was poured! Omgosh id love to say the story gets better but it definitely did not. Half our orders were totally wrong. (we were 1of 2 tables, clueless like I said) she re wrote our correct order and guess what we got wrong plates again... We just ate it because it wasn't worth the effort to talk to her again. This place is a joke the employees were a joke. This place is definitely the worst restaurant I've eaten at. So all in all I suppose I got the Waffle house experience. Half decent food one step up from dining...
