Creamy Rolls and More — Restaurant in Matthews

Says it closed at 9 pm, and we walked in at 830. The employee, owner? I'm not sure, but she had an entire attitude the moment we walked in. We walked to the front counter and it took her a bit to come up and take our order. She was on the phone coming to the counter and more people walked in, obviously still frustrated she says "well there's like 7 people and now even more just walked in ugh" Okayyyy, If she wanted to close up early, she could have denied us and turned the "open" sign to closed and locked the doors. She had an attitude taking the order (3 drinks) but before we even got to the 3rd drink she says because we are closing we can only order a certain amount of the boba drinks we wanted and instead can order rolled ice cream........

First time trying the rolled ice cream at this location. The ice cream itself was okay, and it came out in a timely manner. We ordered the strawberry flavor, which was $8.50. After it was served, we asked about the toppings it was supposed to come with and were told they were out of whipped cream. We also noticed it didn’t come with the additional toppings like fresh strawberries and chocolate chips. When we asked, the staff said they were saving the strawberries for the next customer—though the shop was empty when we arrived and left. There was no offer to substitute the toppings or provide a discount, and we weren’t told ahead of time that anything was missing. My daughter has been wanting to try rolled ice cream…. who would have thought a place would open up so close to home that not only had rolled ice cream but also boba as well as other sweet treats. Liki made an incredible rolled ice cream with just three ingredients right in front of us. I like that you see exactly what the ingredients are, the artistry that goes into making it is an added bonus! We will definitely be back and try another...
