I was referred to this store by Assurant to have the screen replaced on my Note 20 5G. It was super to be a standard cracked screen/insurance claim replacement. I filed my claim on Feb. 10th, waited a couple of days to make sure CPR could see the work order sent by Assurant & finally called yesterday (Feb. 14th) morning at 11:09AM.
I give the male employee who answers the phone my info & explain my situation. He tells me the part's out of stock & it will take 2 to 3 days come in. He then says I have to come into the store, "start the process" for the repair and THEN he can order the part for my phone. After it arrives in 2 or 3 days, someone will let me know the part's in & then I would need to come back into the store to be able to have the 2 hour repair done.
At the end of the call, the employee says, "alright" then hangs up the phone. No "goodbye" or "thank you for calling"... only "alright". 🤦♂️
I was already frustrated because I shouldn't have to come in before my part could be ordered. My repair was paid for & the employee knew it. He pulled my paperwork while I was on the phone so again, why do I need to go in store before he ordered my part? Was he not paying attention or was he trying to scam me? I don't know, but the interaction didn't sit well with me.
I called Assurant back and asked them to refer me to another repair center after I explained what happened. Apparently, the interaction didn't sit well with the Assurant guy either because he took it upon himself to file a complaint. The CPR in Indian Trail is where I'll be going. They did not have the part as well, but was able to order it without me coming in to "start the process" my paperwork from Assurant had already started.
Dealing with unnecessary complications & unprofessionalism BEFORE products or services are purchased is a clear indication I should not do business with...
Read moreExtremely disappointed in the service provided. I took my (Huawei) phone in with a cracked screen and was told they could fix it, but they needed to order the part to do so. When it arrived the following week, I took my phone in for the 1-hour servicing needed to change the screen. After 1 hour, I was asked to wait another 15 minutes - then asked to return 2 hours later. An hour later I receive an email saying the cellular antenna was damaged during the repair, meaning no more calls and no internet access beyond Wi-Fi zones. They offered to fix it but informed me they couldn't get the part until the following week - once I had left town. Now I am going out of the country with a phone that has a cracked screen, damaged cellular antenna and to top it off, now the sound is no longer working (it seems the cellular antenna wasn't the only thing damaged). I can't help but wonder who on earth was working on my phone to damage it this badly. I'm not sure if my phone is repairable at this stage, and how much it would cost to do so. If these folks were hesitant about working on a Huawei, I would much rather have been informed the minute I showed them my phone, especially since the store manager himself saw my phone and assured me they could repair it. I regret not going elsewhere and strongly advise others to avoid making the same...

i arrived at the location on 10-5-22 and asked how much to repair front and back glass on iphone XR. i was told front glass $129.99 and rear $199.99 plus tax. so around $360 with tax. i told the employee of the location that i didn't really want to spend that to fix the phone when i was going to trade the phone into my service provider on 10-6-22 as an upgrade. another employee of the location came from around back, obviously after hearing my conversation with employee #1. he stated that they have a bundle price if $200 plus taxes to do both front and rear because of having to take off the front to get to the rear. so with tax the price was $224. i agreed to that price and was handed a (store copy) of what the charges were and they kept the exact same copy for themselves. i arrived today to pay for my service and was told a different price. when i pulled out my copy the different employee told me he was sorry but wasn't honoring that price. i was forced to pay a different price then what was quoted. when i asked about what his store employee has said, he said he would take care of him and that he shouldn't have told me that price.
