Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Mattoon

Freddy’s, what can I say that hasn’t already been said about this beautiful establishment, first let me say that I come here twice a month, and when I do come through the drive-thru at least twice. Let’s get into the food part of this review, I’ll start with the dogs, oh the dogs, the old saying goes “all dogs go to heaven”, well in the case of Freddy’s all dogs come from heaven because let me tell you they taste absolutely heavenly. That crisp crunch of the fluffy bun, the juicy flavor of that all beef dog, it’s perfection. Next up the French fries, when I eat these I eat them by the handful, the perfect salty seasoning, and with the most beautiful tasting fry sauce on the planet, it’s truly to die for I mean this quite literally, I would die if it meant Freddy’s could stay open for the rest of the world until the end of time. Next I will discuss the signature Freddy’s Steakburgers, that juicy beef patty combined with American cheese will absolutely just melt in your mouth, I legitimately had an orgasm inside the restaurant, even that couldn’t stop me from “finishing” my meal. Finally I will discuss that beautiful sweet custard, on a hot summer’s day I will always go into Freddy’s for some of that delicious treat, I would sit like a dog if it meant someone would give me this treat. This was my first time ever coming here. To say I was disappointed is putting it mildly. We walked in, the person didn't greet us even when we greeted him. Im prettt sure the dead are more lively than this dark haired dude was. When I asked for no onions he quickly rattled off something (I assume the other items on the sandwhich) so I said yeah everything else is fine. So service got a one star. The food got 3 only because of the cheese curbs. My sandwich, while good, was thrown together so sloppily it was falling apart. I've had better put together deluxe quarter pounder with cheeses at McDonald's than here. Atmosphere was meh, we had to wipe down our own table but I wouldn't say the place was dirty. But you could tell cleaning up after someone left was not a priority. I may consider giving them a second chance but...

I did not like the ice cream my boyfriend got a ticket that said that he could get a free lunch or whatever because he was military while we're not even in the town you didn't even see the fact that it expired so the girl had the manager to come over and the manager was very rude and said well it's got an expiration date on it and I'm very angry with it because he could have given it to him like I said we're out of town and didn't realize it had an expiration date the expiration date on it was so small we didn't really read it and didn't think about it I am glad that they do this for servicemen and women but when they treat a service man like this this made me angry I will never go back there I cannot believe our servicemen and women serve and then they treat them like that the...
