Normally visiting this location I already know the service is bad so my expectations aren’t very high! I try not to go but I will of my children want a treat… today I stop in through drive through expecting to be asked to “pull forward” I found it unnecessary to pull forward today seeing as though I literally was only waiting on 1 frappe! After being asked to pull forward I politely tell the person working the window that I’d rather wait at the window since it’s only going to take a few seconds for my frappe to get done. The person working the window rudely yells to the manager “she’s not moving she’s refusing” the manager then throws her hands in the air yelling and causing a huge scene “it’s fine I’ll just run this order out to the next car it’s not like we’re in a competition or anything!!!” While this “manager” is walking the next order outside to the car behind me she is yelling still about me not moving forward. Here’s my issue! I had my sausage biscuits my straws and napkins. The young lady making my frappes looked horrified and humiliated that she was working in that environment. I understand every company has to compete for the numbers I get it! But I’m a paying customer. Paying customer! I wasn’t rude I wasn’t cussing at any of the employees, I didn’t roll my eyes and give nasty hand gestures i simply didn’t want to pull forward for a couple seconds. Did those added seconds really ruin whatever competition they are in? Did I mention I was a paying customer! At what point do people in customer service realize that the customers are the reason you are working. I understand working fast food is rough! Been there done that!! However this lady needs to learn how to control her attitude and emotions. Especially working with young people who are learning how to be acceptable human beings in this already...
Read moreStopped here for a quick meal. Went to the counter and was ignored. In fact the employee made eye contact with me and then walked away. OK....then I will try the payment kiosk. Placed our order and sat down with my number sign. A few minutes later, "Whap!" An employee slammed down the tray on our table and walked off without any comment of customer service. Took us by surprise. We got our sandwiches, but not our drinks. Went back up to the counter with receipt in hand. "Oh, you have to tell us about the drinks." What?!!! Saw the same employee do the same to other customers. He even appeared to be dressed like the manager. Poor reflection of customer service and management! You can do better than that! Don't know why I am a glutton for punishment. I stopped by again for a quick meal before a movie. Was greeted by someone at the counter this time. She even read back my order and said they would bring it out to us. I thought hey, maybe they are trying to do better. Nope. We sat down and waited....and waited....and waited. Finally my husband went up to see what the issue was. While he was at the counter, another employee came to our table and WHAP! slammed the tray on our table and left. No confirmation of order, no sorry for your wait, no eye contact. Nothing. Guys---how do you plan to move up in a job if you can't act or communicate professionally? Trust me--it matters! That person sitting at the table might be your next...
Read moreMcd on dettro drive had an issue with my $50 mobile order. Yes, it was $50. The deal wasn't on the first order. So it brought the total to $58. They told me to fix the order with the reward on it and they'd refund the one they cashed out before I saw the price on the receipt. They said it would take up to 2 weeks to refund. That was around Halloween 2021. It's now 4/1/22. I've received no refund, and the woman I was referred to at the Effingham business office was rude, dismissive, and acted like I waited to long, when I was told it would be two weeks, then when I followed up after 2 weeks, they didn't have an answer. So I asked the other MCD on Lakeland. They gave me the business office number. After leaving a message receiving no call back I called again. This time I was able to talk to someone. But it had been over a month I'd been trying to get my money back. She said she'd look into it. I still have my bank statement where it was recorded, as well as screenshots of the mobile orders. She never followed up. I've called two more times and nothing. It's hard to get into my bank due to covid and I have to go in to dispute, where it will then cost me $15. Aside from the RIDICULOUS price hikes MCD has recently put in place, the food is GARBAGE. They know people only eat here because it's cheap and we can feed multiple people for a few bucks apiece, right??? Consistently making bad management...
