First time here today. It was an overall excellent experience. The space is clean and open, lots of tables and lots of windows. It’s a very comfortable atmosphere, good music, cool air conditioning. The staff was warm and prompt. The menu is big! And there’s tons of classic Chinese takeout dishes. I’d really been missing this style of Chinese food. We ordered comfort food, sesame chicken, sweet and sour pork, bbq pork fried rice crab rangoon. It was all very very good. The sesame chicken was a surprisingly flavorful version of the sweet dish. There was great depth of flavor and it wasn’t just sweet. I couldn’t stop eating it. I’d heard rumors that the portions were small and that it was expensive. I did not find that to be the case. Prices are on par for the portions and area. I loved the whole meal and we will be back soon.
*came back for take out. Food was awesome, excellent portions. Called in to order and it was ready and fresh in 10 minutes. Tried the spicy sweet and sour chicken, SO ono. Friendly reminder, ala carte meals do not include white rice so be sure to ask for it....
Read moreThe food here was not very tasty. The fried rice I got had a burnt charcoal taste, but nothing dramatic, it was very subtle. But not good
The lo mein was good, I was hoping for a bit more flavor but it was my best item on my plate - which isn't saying much.
The orange chicken I got was not very good either. I would say it tasted like bbq sauce with some starch and flour. But it wasn't near my expectations
I got some fried calamari and this was ok. I would prefer some lemon with it but I gotta say, this was also flavor lacking
My taro boba was good. Very thicker than I'm used to but it had the flavor I look for in a taro milk tea. And it was kinda PACKED with boba...which may not be very good for some people, i felt indifferent about it
Everything I got was vflavor...
Read moreI dont write reviews, but I want to support a nice local place so it doesn't go away like a lot of places on maui. It's nice to have a real Chinese food restaurant on island. It's not a BBQ, or local kine fusion place. I meet with friends here about 2 times a month after disc golfing. Staff is friendly, food is good, comes out fast. My favorite thing from them is sweet and sour pork. It's crispy and delicious. The only thing we didn't really like was the chow mein it's not the style we are used to but its not bad just different. The portion are generous and we all enjoy the...
