Ben & Jerry’s — Restaurant in McAllen

On a warm and sunny afternoon, I found myself craving something sweet and refreshing to cool down. The thought of ice cream instantly crossed my mind, and my heart raced at the idea of indulging in a tub of deliciousness from Ben & Jerry’s. Known for their creative flavors and commitment to quality, I knew that a trip to this iconic ice cream shop would be a delightful experience. Little did I know that this simple outing would turn into a memorable adventure filled with joy and laughter.

As I approached the Ben & Jerry’s storefront, the vibrant colors and inviting atmosphere immediately caught my attention. The cheerful decor, adorned with whimsical illustrations of cows and ice cream cones, set the tone for the delightful experience ahead. I stepped inside, greeted by the friendly staff who welcomed me with warm smiles, ready to help me navigate their extensive menu of flavors. Thanks to my dearest worker "Carolina Castillo" I was able to fulfill my tastebuds.

With so many options available, I felt like a kid in a candy store. The menu board was a colorful display of unique flavor combinations, from classic favorites like Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to imaginative creations like Brownie Batter and Mint Chocolate Cookie. I took my time perusing the choices, excitedly reminiscing about the flavors I had enjoyed in the past while considering new ones I had yet to try. The sheer variety made the decision-making process both challenging and exhilarating.

As I stood in line, I overheard a conversation between two young children eagerly discussing their favorite flavors. Their infectious enthusiasm added to the joyful atmosphere, and I found myself smiling at their animated expressions. It reminded me of my own childhood ice cream outings, filled with the same excitement and anticipation. After finishing my cone, I decided to explore the Ben & Jerry’s merchandise section. I browsed through an array of fun t-shirts, quirky mugs, and even ice cream-themed accessories. I couldn’t resist picking up a pint of one of their limited-edition flavors to take home, knowing it would extend the joy of my visit long after I left the shop. Absolutely the worst service my family has had a Ben & Jerry's ever. We showed up about 30 mins before closing. Young lady working was happy to see us (was 8 of us). She did fill our orders, so we sat down to enjoy our treats inside. There was an older guy working on a Lego set in back hall which was odd. Another group of 4 people came in and got treats. The went to outside tables to eat, and the older guy went outside to inform them that they had to get up so that he could move tables inside (it was still 15 minutes before closing). They were not happy!! This caused a lot of loud noise inside for us, and he then asked if we were done because he wanted to gather the trash. It was a total slap in the face after we had spend over $60 on ice cream just 15 mins ago and weren't done yet. We won't stop here again! I so hope the owner or manager see this and realizes this behavior is not acceptable to...

I've never been to a Ben & Jerry's ever. I liked the place tough, nice decoration. The lady at the counter was really nice and offered to taste any of the flavors as I told her it was my first time.

We ended up ordering the large waffle cone with a scoop of coffee chocolate and salted caramel. That tasted good.

Guess that if you're an ice cream fan, should go and try those funky combinations with catchy names that i believe are the reason why the ice cream is so famous. However IMO don't think that will ever come back as like I said, the ice cream flavor was good but not great, a little extra sweet .. but again is my opinion and if you look on my reviews you'll see what is the ice cream I've visited lately and really liked.
