Domino's Pizza — Restaurant in McHenry

So I live 10 minutes from this place I’ve never ordered dominoes but Fox Lake is eight minutes and they are closed due to staff and I worked at a restaurant for one year as a cook and phone delivery person as well at a pizza place, I usually would not be mad or care but for someone to turn you down because jurisdiction apparently and turn down a new customer because they said that it’s Fox Lake Jurisdiction? which is like crazy 10 minutes you could just add a delivery fee it wouldn’t Hurt you guys at all you would’ve gained a new customer so I really could not believe that 10 minutes away from my house and you still couldn’t deliver here I’m sorry but that just irked me, I would never turn down a customer specially if you only live 10 minutes away like Comme on lol why would you turn a costumer away who lives very close by and is Spending their Money on your Products! I worked for a year at another pizza Place and that’s just something we would see as bad costumer service and we would never do such a thing because they’re putting money in our pocket and tipping our delivery people and just As soon as I called and had a question about what they had because I don’t order very much dominoes she literally had an attitude obviously you don’t like where you work if it’s soon as you answer the phone you have an attitude we all know it can be stressful but this was just horrible customer service and you definitely gave dominoes a bad name no thank you lol zero...

I've been ordering from here for years, it's usually decent. Sometimes they make mistakes but that's normal. I had to wait for them to redo a pizza because they got my order wrong. They didn't make it up to me for having to wait another ten minutes, that kind of sucked. What I don't like - they started charging extra for chicken as a topping. I used the two for $6.99 coupon and kept wondering why it was 50 cents extra. Before, the checkout menu online would tell you what the extra cost was. That doesn't happen anymore. Second, they got rid of the roasted red peppers, which was my favorite topping. I'm not sure if these were corporate decisions or just this specific store. Probably corporate. Who knows. Anyway, these little changes are annoying but it's happening with all food chains everywhere - trying to squeeze as much money out of customers while the experience suffers. It's unfortunate.

Also, as of May 5 2025, the store's sign, the name of the store, is gone. Where did it go? I thought that the place had closed down or something when I picked up my...

Once upon a time a couple years ago, I tried some Dominos pizza from Fox Lake, Illinois and I was not impressed with it. I remember my childhood days how popular Dominos was and the “Avoid the Noid!“ campaigns. So a couple weeks ago, I tried the McHenry location for delivery and I was thoroughly impressed with the pizza. I even tried the stuffed cheese, bacon and jalapeño bread and it was awesome!

Today, I stopped in and I have to say, this place is cool. While waiting, you can see what the progress is on your pizza, draw on the wall with chalk and watch how the pizzas are being made as if you’re right there in the pit with them. The cost was great, the staff was friendly and the place was clean! This is unheard of in Mchenry as well as parts of the county. I will certainly be back to try something new and I recommend you try it as well. You can’t go wrong....
