We were passing through from out of state & were excited to have the opportunity for Dickey's bbq which we hadn't had in years. This 1 was TERRIBLY disappointing. It was nasty. I can confidently say that 80% of their tables were dirty & hadn't been busted. The service was also terrible. We stood there for a good 5 minutes while employees walked right by us behind the counter & paid us no mind. My husband finally spoke up that we would like to order. They were not professional, nor concerned with showing any polite behavior. Every side was down to the last 1/4, so not only was it not appealing, but we knew we were getting the scraps from an unknown number of hours before us. The server was very unpersonable & difficult to communicate our order to because she didn't communicate well. The ice machines empty so I went to the front counter for ice. I explained the machine was out & they couldn't have cared any less. Another person came up, about 10 mins after me, also needing ice & had to go to the front also. The girl told him in the most disconcerned tone that she needed to fill it, but then she immediately grabbed her to-go box, sat down, & ate. We were there after the main lunch crowd (about 1:20). There were only 2 couples in the restaurant so there was no excuse, in my opinion, to not have clean tables, food refreshed, & the ice machine filled. Those things definitely could've been done instead of 1 server sitting to eat & another choosing to take a seat behind the condiments bar & just hang out. My pulled pork sandwich was full of a huge 3 inch hunk of fat, so my food was yet another disappointment. Read moreThe management here is terrible (the female with all the makeup)... if she doesn't think you want to date her, the service you'll get is waaaay below even terrible. The little boy they have cutting the meats, is rude, and the manager condones it and accepts it because she'll stand there and won't correct him or say a word. The last THREE times I've came here, they have been out of chicken... in the EARLY part of the day. I'm talking 12, 1, and 2 o'clock. How can you be out of chicken that early in the day??? Makes no sense. Sounds like poor management and preparing, and it has happened each time the female manager (with all if the make-up) is on duty. The manager and the little boy meat cutter where up front... The little boy meat cutter tells me he doesn't have any chicken, then I looked at him strange, then he says he can go check. THEN, the manager sees me standing there, and doesn't even acknowledge me and tells the little boy meat cutter before he goes to check, that it will be an hour. Maybe they don't like me... I'm not certain. But are you serious??? An hour for chicken at a restaurant that's known for their smoked chicken breast??? This location used to be the best in this area, but management has declined, and they hire people who don't care. I will never come to this location again. If I do, and I see the same manager and the same little boy meat cutter, I will turn around, and walk out. This place is now terrible, lacks the family friendliness like it used to have, and needs better management to plan for day to day dealings. Ordered wings online at 5:20pm (website says they deliver) after an hr and a half of not hearing anything, no email updates or movement on the "order tracker," I tried to call this location 6 times, no answer on the phone. Hopped in my car and drove over there, arrived around 7:06pm, only to be nonchalantly informed "we don't really deliver" and had no idea of my order, and told me it'll be ready in a couple minutes as they pulled stuff out of the freezer and I had to inform them of my order. While sitting there for the "couple of minutes" for them to prepare my order that they knew nothing about, the manager walked up to me and asked if I was waiting for something, which I explained I was waiting for my wings. When my wings were completed and ready, they forgot my fries, and made them with one sauce instead of two as per my order. At this point my frustration was even higher so I spoke with the manager, and she informed me that sometimes the tickets do not print when ordering online through wingboss, and that she was "sorry" and took a photo of my emailed receipt. My food was finally ready and I left the restaurant at 7:21pm, 2 full hours after order was placed online. There are 100 more places that you can buy overpriced wings from, and not be completely insulted in the process.
Absolutely ridiculous treatment, regardless of if the wings are even good or not, I will not be returning...
