Iām a regular customer here at Dutch Bros. I visited tonight at an hour before they closed. Unfortunately, this is worst customer service in my 10 years in McKinney. I understand that everyone has bad days, but this was unacceptable. I was the only one there and had to wait outside their glass window for minutes (mind you no one was in the drive-through or in line with me). As someone whoās worked at a smoothie king before, I totally understand what it feels like, but it was not like I was arriving the last two minutes before closing. It seemed like they wanted to ignore me, hoping that I would to go away. Finally, I was greeted with a bad attitude barista who had black hat and bun. After taking order, the question of tip came up, although the wording that she used was not a very clear. I asked her to repeat, and she would say the same thing and mumble. As I see her getting frustrated, I felt bad for not understanding what she was trying to say to me and my mother but we really could not piece together what was being said. I had decided after this terrible experience of course I would not leave a tip and she walked off upset. Thinking that she probably had a bad day and was just taking out at everyone she saw, I was proven wrong. I saw her interact with her coworker, which she was relatively friendly, and seem to have a nice conversation with her while doing our drinks. Once she finished our drinks, look like she did not care to do two trips to carry them so she carried all 4 at once. When she was placing them all down, one of the drinks happened to spill all over her arm. Thankfully, she did have the decency to go refill it up but once returning our drink, she still had that nasty attitude. All I can say with karma came around with that one. The take away for posting this review itās just to treat your customers better no matter what the time or person. Dutch Bros branding is all about customer service and Iām just so disappointed on having such a bad experience on the one that I have closest to my...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWaiting 20 to 30 minutes in line is not okay! Especially when you have adolescent teenagers, fooling around and playing around instead of working. One of the co-workers was gossiping with a friend, in fact a car that sped up and cut me in the Drive-Thru didn't order anything and couldn't believe that the employee came out to have a conversation with the person, wasn't even working, and after waiting in line for 30 minutes, the guy in front of me who cut me wasn't even ordering anything he just wanted to chat with the girl in flirt and I think it was her boyfriend, but I am not a fan of paying for overpriced drinks and waiting in line for 30 minutes and being treated like this. I do not recommend going to this place, in fact I have grown hatred towards this location as they treat their customers like animals. I come to get a drink, I don't come to chat with employees. Get your business together because I am not a happy customer. In fact I feel like you owe me money because 30 minutes, I get paid more than I just paid you for your drink. I expect about your but I also expect you to take care of your employees and terminate the ones that are not doing their job. If you're going to hire pretty girls you need to make sure that they're not slacking and that they're actually workers as well. I hate the way I was treated yesterday so poorly! No need to respond to this because there's no excuses, I told them off and they laughed and shook their head. And absolutely horrible...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreJust got back from this location, and I usually don't write reviews, but this deserves one. I pulled in because I wanted an Ice Water, not thinking too much about the long line. I don't mind waiting at all, so I was fine.
A very nice guy comes up to take my order, though I wish I got his name so I could shout him out. I told him I just wanted a water, and he was going to have me pull around and go to the walk-up, but there was someone in front of me so I couldn't go around. (I was in the outer lane, there is no bypass lane at this location.) I said it was totally fine and I didn't mind waiting, and he said he felt bad so he offered me a free drink. I can't have much caffeine, and I had already slammed an espresso right before, so I panicked and said strawberry lemonade. He was nice enough to give me a medium SL and a large water on the house! I only had a few dollar bills, so I tipped what I had.
He was super cool and super friendly! Thanks for the drinks and kind service, I will be stuck in my dutchbros addiction a little longer thanks to him. Give this man a raise, he...
