i went to mcdonald’s and i have 2 orders in total, the first one was a mobile order and the second one was an order with a mobile code. after pulling up to the window the lady asked what she could get for me, i told her i had two orders and a code for both and she said “what’s the code” with an attitude as if it was an inconvenience to her, however i ignored it and state my code which was “LS74” i believe, and she asked me to repeat the code and i work on the phone all the time so i know that it can be hard to tell what letter someone is saying sometimes so i said “L as in little, S as in sam…” and before i can even finish the lady said “i don’t need to to spell it out, i can understand it the right way just fine”, i didn’t know what to say after that because i was just trying to be more helpful but after a pause i said the code again and i asked if she could add mac sauce on my burger and she said “no we can’t, once your order is placed we don’t change it” i said “okay can i have a side of mac sauce then” and she said “no we have to charge for that” so i asked if she could place it on my second order which was a medium fry and drink and she let out an annoyed sigh and said “sure”. i could go on talking about the rest of the encounter and about how rude she was to me but im sure my point has gotten across. once at the window i asked who worked lane 1 at the time and the employee told me it was her manager so i said “ooh well i just ask because she was very very rude to me” and the girl in the first window apologized for the inconvenience but state it was her manager so there wasn’t much she could do “i told her that it’s okay” and i pulled up to the next window, after receiving my food i asked the lady at the second window who her manager was and she pointed to the lady behind her and i said “i just wanted to let you know that you were very rude to me and i don’t appreciate it” and then i drove off because i was mad. i should’ve stayed to resolve it but the fact that the MANAGER is the one who gave me attitude and was very unwilling to help. i lost my receipt for my first order, otherwise i would leave another review about my experience because it’s ridiculous that a employee treated a customer that way especially since it...
Read moreDear McDonald’s Customer Service,
I am writing to report a serious food safety issue that occurred on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, at your restaurant located at 1810 W University, McKinney, TX 75069.
My son visited this location drive-through and brought home a Quarter Pounder meal for me. After taking my first bite, I immediately realized the burger patty was raw and bloody. I was alarmed and panicked, as consuming undercooked beef poses a serious health risk.
I tried calling the store several times, but there was no answer. Concerned for my health and wanting to report the issue promptly, I drove to the location with the food. Upon arriving, I discovered there was no way to enter the building, so I rang the bell at a side window. A young employee came to the window, and I explained the situation, asking to speak with a General Manager.
Another woman came to the window, but instead of receiving an apology or concern for the situation, the interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. She asked for my receipt without even addressing the food safety issue or offering an apology, and when I declined to hand over the raw burger (offering instead to let her photograph it while I held it), she told me I “didn’t have to be rude.” I want to be clear that my tone was calm and justified, especially given the circumstances, and I have a recording of the conversation. I was refunded for the meal, but I left disappointed and disturbed that this occurred at all. I’m extremely concerned about the lack of care and professionalism displayed, as well as the fact that such an uncooked burger was served in the first place. Undercooked beef, or in this situation, uncooked beef, presents a serious health hazard!
If I could give - 100, this would be it!
The photo does not do justice, and the video I have won't upload.
Suggestions: Please ensure that all food is cooked thoroughly to proper food safety standards. I also recommend conducting an unannounced visit to the store, posing as a regular customer, to observe how the staff handle orders and customer interactions firsthand. You may find that certain employees are negatively impacting your franchise’s reputation and overall performance, which in turn slows...
Read moreThis visit was on 12/6/23. I ordered two (2) 10-piece McNuggets in the drive thru. I asked for three (3) Sweet 'N Sour sauces. I paid and drove up to the second window. The sack had no Sweet 'N Sour sauces in it. I asked the employee in the drive thru, she said I'd have to pay for them. I said sure. She went to go get them (I guess?), then came back and said she COULDN'T FIND any Sweet 'N Sour sauce. So I left. Thing is, my kids like Sweet 'N Sour sauce with their McNuggets (isn't the same without it). So, I parked and walked up to the door that says "COME ON IN" in big letters (see photo).
I didn't enter the restaurant (the door goes to the kitchen area). Despite that, a male employee stopped me (from the other side of the door) and waved me over to a walk-up window. I asked him, can I please get some Sweet 'N Sour sauces. He said, "I NEED TO SEE YOUR RECEIPT." Oops, I accidentally left my receipt in the car. I walked back to the car and got it. Walked back to the window. Man said, "OH FOR SAUCE I DON'T NEED TO SEE YOUR RECEIPT, ACTUALLY. I THOUGHT YOU WANT FREE CHICKEN NUGGETS." ... the F? He grudgingly gave me a few Sweet 'N Sour sauces and I left.
Weird experience. Have to show a receipt now to get condiments? Also, what's with the sign on the door? It says "COME ON IN" but clearly people (customers) are not allowed inside. SO WHY IS THE SIGN ON THE DOOR?
This is an oddball McDonalds location with no indoor seating. It's only drive thru and the walk-up window. That's OK, I guess. Think I read something recently about all (or most) new McDonalds will be eliminating indoor dining and they are phasing out the self-serve fountain/soda machines.
Also I've noticed lately, all the McKinney McDonalds (including this one), THEY GET THE ORDER WRONG A LOT. Like, food will be missing and to fix it, I have to park and go inside and stand there by the self-serve kiosks and wait to get noticed, and then explain to an employee (who usually doesn't speak English) how they got my order wrong. Then wait as THAT person huffs off to make my order right.
McDonalds is raising their prices, but their service is...
