Worst customer service I’ve experienced from this location. I’m not sure if they changed ownership or what the issue is however the past two times I’ve delt with this location the customer service has not been pleasant. The first time I just assumed it was a bad day and brushed it off but after today I will not be wasting my time and money at this location. I live in Oklahoma and have been ordering cakes here for the past 4 years. I explained to the manager that I was placing an online order for a cake and two dozen minis, however I needed 26, so was there anyway I could buy just two extra as this is for my daughters school bday party. He said No it was against company policy and they didn’t have anything to put them in if they sold them to me, have a good day…..
I’m sure that is company policy however if I was the manager at that location and somebody was driving and had been several years now an hour to my location as well as about to spend over $150 at my store I’d be more than happy to walk two extras out the door as I’m sure their employees get to help themselves to a mini here and there.

Read moreAfter purchasing a 10-inch cake, I discovered that I qualified for a teacher discount. The associate went to get a manager to assist with processing a credit. While I waited, I spoke with another customer who had informed me about the discount. When the manager arrived, he made minimal eye contact and barely greeted me. He approached the register, and I asked if he needed my receipt. He inquired if I had paid by credit card, to which I replied yes, and then he indicated he didn't need to see it. He quickly finished whatever he did at the register and returned to the back.
Four days later, a credit had been issued, but it was for half the amount I should have received. I have been purchasing cakes from this bakery since they were closed on Sundays, and I was pleased when they expanded their hours. The delicious taste of the cakes kept me coming back, but the customer service has declined over the years.
I had never interacted with a manager before, but now I understand where the decline in friendly customer service originates. I have already found another bakery to try, and I am also considering driving to the Nothing Bundt Cakes in Prosper, even though it's farther from my home. I hope the McKinney location improves its customer service, as customers deserve good service when they spend their hard...
Read moreI had an order placed for the Allen location, but they called to give me a refund and cancelled my order due to inclement weather. So, I called the Mckinney location and they let me know that they would be open as long as the weather was okay. So I placed the order and expected the same treatment as the Allen location in the case that the order was cancelled. But nope, not a single notice that they were going to close. The weather is cold, but the streets are normal and dry, unlike the previous days. At least let your customers know so that we can make alternate plans. It doesn’t make sense considering that I placed the order 5 minutes after I spoke with an employee there so they were clearly open and most likely saw the order in their system. I was able to catch the door open when an employee sneaked in for the noon opening. At least post a sign on the door that you guys would be open at noon. In the end I was able to get my order...
