So I went and spent almost $16 on just a sandwich. I got back to my job which is approximately 3 minutes from firehouse subs. I started to eat and my entire sandwich just feel to pieces. Half of the meat feel out in the floor. I had to take a call from a client but as soon as my call ended I started trying to call firehouse. So the manager answered the phone. I told him what happened and he then passed the phone to an employee to handle it. I told her I would bring the sandwich back to them and get response was "you can bring it up here and we can discuss it". ?????? Discuss what???? I'm not going to waste my time or gas no matter how close to come discuss what can be discussed and handle via phone. I'm not going to stop working to drive over there to leave empty handed. I've already wasted $16. So I all get to let me talk to the manager. She said he didn't have time to talk to me that he was busy. Then I ask for corporates number and was given the wrong number. I own a bakery here in Mckinney and I would never treat my customers this way. Especially after choosing my establishment to dine at or take out. That very poor customer service and it says we only care about your money, not that we want you to have a great experience or our products to be to your liking or the quality you get for your money. If my customers ever have an issue with any of my baked goods I fix it or i replace it, no questions ask. Because I want my customers to receive the best quality and customer service possible. I even offer to bring the sandwich back that's the sad part. I can promise if they do this to other customers they're gonna lose money. It only takes one time to lose a customer. My husband and I have been going there for the past 4 years atleast 3 times a month. But today will be our last. I can spend less money at subway and get a full meal and better customer service. I can take my business to Jimmy John's, or Jersey Mike's. I along with many other customers don't have money to...
Read morePoor, disrespectful service. Arrived at 8:30 p.m., we asked if they were still open since they closed at 9 p.m., and we didnt see any staff upon entering. The young cashier guy didn't smile, didn't greet us, but had a mad look on his face as he was taking our order. He seemed upset that he had to take our order. I smiled at him, after he took my order and while he was taking my husband's order, but he didn't smile back, but continued to look upset. It made me feel very uncomfortable as a customer. He literally stood there staring at us with no emotion on his face, just looking angry. He asked, "Is it for here or to go?" I replied, "For here, it's still a half hour before you close, right?" He said, "I have to clean the (eating) area, so I'll have to put it in a to go box." He made us feel like we were inconveniencing him by eating our meal there, and coupled with his attitude, I didn't appreciate it one bit. We were well aware of the time, and wanted to enjoy our meal, but felt that he was more interested in what was best for him, than us, the customer. We were the only customers in the restaurant. I replied, "What poor customer service. You should focus on doing what's right for us, the paying customer, not you, personally." I noted he was still angry, and was the same person making our meal. I didn't want his "negative energy" while preparing my meal, so I approached him and asked, "Can you please cancel my order, but still keep my husband's?" He replied, "No, I can't do that." I asked for a manager. The female manager that helped me, didn't even ask if there was an issue. Another male came up front and gave me a refund. I don't know, it seemed like they were all in a bad mood. I get it. They were probably hoping no customer would come in a half hour before closing, but we did and they didn't have to make it obvious. Whatever happened to telling a customer, "Come on in! No worries! Enjoy your meal and take your time! We appreciate...
Read moreNot great... our order was made online... I arrived a little before hand and I spoke with Wes at the register. I told him I had an online order and that it was paid for and that I was going to use the bathroom. I told him it was for Doug or Denise. When I got out, Wes saw me and didn't say anything. I noticed a bag sitting on the oven but didn't pursue it. He knew my name. I waited another 10 minutes and then asked if I could get my drinks. I was hand my cups and I filled them and took them to the car. When I returned... nothing. So I went to the counter and asked. They pulled the bag that was on the oven and had been sitting there since I left the bathroom. I then asked in my BOWL of chili had cheese and onions... it didn't. Also, had I realized that a bowl of chili, which was around $5, was the size of a cup, I wouldn't have ordered it. After getting the food to my family, all of the orders were made incorrectly.
We used to like this Firehouse... I am not sure we...
