This was my second attempt at this location. I placed an online order, assuming I wouldn't have to wait an hour as I did the first time I tried . I assumed wrong. The online orders was placed at 6:17 p.m Tuesday April 22. It stated they order would be ready in 38-43 minutes. When I arrived it was chaos. They told me it would be another 45 minutes I obviously wasn't okay with this. I wanted to do a refund but there was no manager at all present or available on phone to handle this. Giving no choice but to wait for the food longer. There were 12 employees working and observed 8 just standing around in the back, 4 at the register.. Two of them looked like they may have been a couple, boyfriend and girlfriend leaned up on the back table. There was one employee rolling her eyes. Customers were getting mad asking for refunds being told they couldn't do one wanting their orders, they started letting the tickets from online orders just come in and stopped fixing them, and telling people.as they walked in very rudely that they were closed snd not tsking anymlre orders. They gave me part of my fries without the rest of the order which were nothing but ends. I waited another 25 minutes and asked if my fries could be made fresh with the rest of my order, they were not . 7:46 is when I finally got my order after being told multiple times it was my 6 piece chicken strips that take the longest ,that it would be 3 minutes. When I got home the fries were water logged and cold they dumped the veggies with a bunch of water on top of them! What a waste!! This made me livid at this point .They were soaked with water! I had asked for 10 wings, half original Buffalo and the other mango, the original was some dry rub, not hot at all!!! The chicken itself was overcooked, making it hard and extremely dry. Beyond disappointed! I really would have preferred my money back! There should ALWAYS be a manager on duty at all times while the store is running to lead and properly manage. Customer service , professionalism, quality and time of service were all very, very poor. I blame this on management. Hire more adults who are willing to work and tske lead and have managers present as stated before. There was only one employee there out of the entire store that seemed like she was really trying . She was young , I honeslty can't remember her name , it did...
Read moreStruggle was real today at McMinnville WingStop. Ordered my food and the app said it would take an hour, so I took my time getting there. Arrived and went inside where I was greeted with an absolutely overwhelmed and under trained staff.
As a world-wide brand with over TWO THOUSAND locations, I was appalled at how these new staff are thrown to the wolves. It was VERY apparent that WingStop chose to open doors a tad early, sacrificed training their employees to an acceptable point of proficiency, in an effort to start taking money from customers.
For the record, I DO NOT blame the staff. They were working their butts off and it showed. What I saw, as I took it all in, was chaos, no leadership, zero direction and again, chaos. Efficiency can’t thrive in that atmosphere. Not possible.
I ordered $36+ in food and when I arrived after my time, I waited while they searched for my order and couldn’t find it. Finally, I was told it would be an additional two hours! For reference, I could have driven to Tualatin, ordered my food, driven back to McMinnville and eaten my wings in their parking lot in that amount of time. I also discovered that my order ticket was never printed and wasn’t going to be worked on unless I asked about it, thus why they couldn’t find it..
I politely asked for a refund and the employee thanked me for not yelling at her?! This is the impact of a greedy corporation or franchisee that opened too early and was nowhere in site when their staff are being accosted by angry customers. If you want to open early, YOU be the one to face the upset customers and answer questions.
The employee told me that I would receive my refund later, because of course, they hadn’t been trained on issuing refunds yet.
I do think things will smooth out BUT if today was any indication of how they plan to run this business, I’ll hit...
Read moreWe got to Wingstop at 10:30 and because that is when they open for dine in. As we pulled up all employees were sitting at the tables eating and we caught extremely off guard that someone showed up when the store opened. We were generous and gave them a few minutes to hopefully get things cleaned up. We then went in the store to have dirty tables because of their food (we had to clean our own table), other food remanence on the ground and just not the clean store you’d think you’d walk into being the first people there. As they were making our food someone mentioned the order you put things on the corn to avoid cross contamination and another employee said “what?! We are supposed to do it like that?! I never have”…. Basically saying she has cross contaminated all corn she has made. Don’t get me wrong the people were nice but this was not a good look. When the restaurant opens at 10:30 they should be ready to serve and have people...
