Best Café Diner Experience of My Life!
Review:
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Elmer's in Medford, Oregon, and it was hands down the best café diner experience I've ever had.
Service: The service was impeccable. My server, Jill, and I connected on a personal level since we discovered we were both psychic. Her recommendation for the best dish on the menu turned out to be exactly what I was planning to order - the crab Benedict.
Food: The crab Benedict was a revelation. The Hollandaise sauce had perfectly absorbed the flavors of the crab, and they added Tillamook bacon, a touch of tomato, and what I believe was their own freshly baked sourdough. Every bite was a delight, and it proved to me that you can always judge a place by its eggs Benedict.
Atmosphere: The atmosphere at Elmer's is warm and welcoming. This was the first place I stopped in Oregon, and it made me feel at home. The environment was incredibly welcoming, with spots to plug in the laptop whilst I enjoyed my meal.
Value: If I didn't have a few mimosas for dinner it would have been under $20. Not bad for the best Crab Bennie ever.
Thank you, Elmer's, for an unforgettable experience. I will definitely be coming...
Read moreI have eaten at many of these restaurants and have eaten at this one 4-5 times . My experience today ended me coming back. The reason well the booth we were seated at was wet and sticky and the wait staff got moody when we asked if they can wipe it again and dry it . We changed to a table and ordered our breakfast. I ordered the chicken fried stake and eggs with toast .
Now I asked for scrambled very burnt nuke them as much as possible like they have done in Idaho any way my eggs came not cooked at all I do not like them and had them returned and got them the same way and the gray was not made right you can taste flour in your mouth kind of like when you make pancakes and there are lumps in the batter also we have not started to eat when our server brought us the bill a said pay when ready this never has happened before. Oh well...
Read moreMy family is of mixed color, we came into Elmer's to have breakfast like we do every week when my family comes to visit us. We sat in the bar area to eat and gamble. The waiter asked what we wanted to drink. We gave him our drink order which was a soda and the rest were waters, he then turned to my brother and asked for ID. Totally understandable question cause we are in a bar. My brother was reaching for his ID and the waiter said that we needed to go. Now mind you my brother was the only one asked for ID and the only one of us of color. I felt so embarrassed and disrespected as the other patrons were staring. I told the waiter that I felt he was not being professional and I would appreciate him lowering his voice. My brother tried to hand him his ID and he said we needed to go. WE WILL...
