Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Medford

We came to dine in at Jimmy John’s for lunch on 8/4/24 at 2pm. We ordered combos and were told their soda machine wasn’t working, so we’d be charged extra for bottled soda. I asked how we would be charged extra for a drink that is smaller (bottle is 20 oz and the fountain drink with combo was 22oz sized). The worker at the time said “I imagine that you’d be getting more soda out of the bottle than the fountain size”. I pointed out that the bottle was in fact 2 less ounces, so us being charged extra for THEM not having fountain sodas seemed silly. They disagreed. We ended up getting just sandwiches and a water cup. Their customer service was not good. They did not even try to make it better for their issue with not having the fountain machine working. Their attitudes were rude and I’m not sure I personally will come back here and I won’t recommend it. I work at a restaurant myself and when we are out of things, we substitute and accommodate the customer. It’s called good...

To fast!! I ordered a sandwich and soda from the drive through. Order Taker Blade (according to the receipt), handed me my soda and the lid immediately popped off sending soda and ice all over me and the center console. After the shock of having soda all over my truck I turn my head a look at Blade. Without missing a beat Blade offers to top off my soda. I decided the offer and instead requested napkins. Slow down Blade and make sure your soda lids aren't broken before handing me the soda. Normally, you guys being super fast is great but if I have park and spend 10 minutes cleaning up soda in your parking lot, I might as well make my own sandwich. P.S. The sandwiches from Jimmy John's are quite basic. The only real saving grace is that they are supposed to have fast delivery, I do sometimes choose to trade quality food for a quick meal. Recently though, their delivery times are anything but "Freaky fast." The last time I ordered food it took an hour and 45 minutes for me to get a sandwich delivered 5 min down the road.

Additionally my previous 3 orders have had missing items. With such a limited selection of sides I would expect more accuracy when it comes to fulfilling orders.
