This location has been dropping the ball. Seems like every other day they don’t allow you to place mobile orders for pick up. When I asked as to why, they simply implied that it’s less orders they have to get to. So I’ve opted to go inside since then to place my orders because their drive through line tends to stretch out on to the busiest street ever, Lindbergh, causing more traffic. Now they have been simple closing the cafe when they feel fit, so you’re forced to sit in that monstrosity of a line or just leave. Which is a huge inconvenience with my morning commute. They changed hours as listed below which is fine. However when I show up to place a drive through order at 5:20am clearly passed their 5am opening. Mind you with staff inside the store, they refuse to take my order as well as the other 10 vehicles. When I simply went to the window to just check if and when they would open the employee just looked at me and said we’re closed rudely and turned her back on me, refusing to even open the window to specify why or when they’d open. Just left me sitting there and ignoring me hoping I’d go away. Very unprofessional, if you’re going to run a business then why allow employees to simple deter your paying customers, just cause they don’t feel like working. I’m done with this Starbucks and their horrible service, I’ll take my...
Read moreShowed up at 8:20 AM for a coffee. Note: I am NOT a usual customer - this was only my second time ever in a starbucks. I almost swore them off the first time and this did it for sure. Showed up to a nearly empty restaurant - one guy who finished ordering as I walked up. The woman who waited on him (older, perhaps the manager?) said "I'll be right back" and walked off. I got to stand there for over a minute watching 4 people stand in the drive through window area talking about nothing and two people behind the counter where I was standing trying to look busy and keep moving. One of them actually making something for the customer in front of me.
After perhaps 2 minutes of standing there watching 6 people NOT wait on me and one person who disappeared in the back with more important issues I stomped out, never to return. Went to Quicktrip to get a coffee in seconds for 1/4 the price that tastes just as good.
I was only in Starbucks trying to spend a gift card I got.
The customer standing there in front of you is more important than any back-room problem or any customer on the phone or any other issue going on. That is obvious customer service rule #1.
Either train everyone to check out customers or make sure the one person...
Read moreThe location i went to doesnt seem prepared for the business they are getting. Their drive thru line extends into traffic and doesn't seem to move. I went, intending to park in one if the many parking spots in front of the store, but couldn't get through the drive thru line blocking my way. I was able to park in a neighboring lot and walk into the store. I got my order and was back in my car and the line hadn't moved a single space. I don't know much about making espresso, but it seems like they can only make one shot per tap at a time. Couldn't the machines be fitted to hold enough espresso to make like 4-8 shots per tap to speed things up? Drinks were good, but also overpriced. My favorite thing to see is when we order an iced quad shot macchiato, because macchiatos have the espresso added last, when they add the ice, the cup overflows and the dump out some of the contents. So, while they do put 4 shots in the cup 1-2 of those shots at least are dumped out before you ever get your drink. Also, no option in their app to have your drink put into a larger cup to avoid this issue for...
