Placed a DoorDash order for a 3-piece meal with rice as the side. Simple, right? Apparently not.
The dasher contacted me to say there were no lids for the rice and asked if I wanted to switch sides. I asked if rice was available, and he said yes—they just didn’t have lids. That made no sense, since other sides obviously require containers too. He then said an employee, “Madison,” told him the manager was going to another location to get lids and asked if I wanted to wait.
I decided to call the store myself and asked to speak with the manager. The young lady who answered said she was the manager. When I asked if they had lids now, she told me “the manager” was still bringing them. When I pointed out the contradiction, she backtracked and said they had no lids for items that required them, and that’s why only fries, coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and macaroni were available. She also admitted she thought she explained this to the dasher but guessed he didn’t relay it properly—which he actually did, it just didn’t make sense.
The logic still doesn’t add up. Fries being in a different container makes sense, but coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and macaroni should all be in a similar container as rice. I asked if I had switched to corn, would I have gotten it—and she said no, only the four sides listed were available. That’s not what DoorDash shows as options.
There needs to be a better way to communicate unavailable items to customers, especially through delivery apps. This message is to the actual manager: please do better, not only in keeping your location properly stocked, but also in ensuring your staff communicates clearly and treats customers with respect.

The cashier @ drive thru was good & quick (8/9/24).....but it took 18 min from the time I paid until the time my food FINALLY came OUT THE BUILDING and the order was short!...I went back into the restsurant...I mentioned to front clerk that I was back in there because my fries were missing....I spent 24.54 for my bill & Yes I wanted my food. Periodt. She informs me she has nothing to do with the drive thru...her customers were the the front counter customers ONLY. Now there were 3 other workers packing food to give to customers too busy to LISTEN to the front clerk tell them 3 times I was waiting for missing food. I had to raise My voice to even get noticed! One woman asks the lady who originally brought me my food out ....'Who is she (me) raising her voice at?'....YOU Young Lady & your Nasty Attitude! Still waited another 3-5 minutes for my fries the young lady then DECIDES to scoop & bag my fries & instead of handing them to ME like an ADULT lays the food in the bag by the front clerk without saying anything. Now I have beem at this location for almost 40 min for a 24.54 order full of Nasty Attitude. SO PLEASE VALUE YOUR TIME & MONEY....PLEASE DO NOT STOP AT THIS LOCATION. There are other restaurants in the area that are just as good minus the Attitude. You will thank me later....

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Church’s Chicken, and I feel compelled to share it. I placed an order for pickup, which should have been a straightforward process, but it was anything but. When I arrived, I was treated as if I were attempting to scam the restaurant. Even after providing proof of the order and my ID, I was met with unnecessary suspicion, which made the whole situation uncomfortable and unwelcoming.
The order itself was mostly correct, except for the sauces. Upon realizing that the correct sauces were missing, I returned to the restaurant. I was then told they were out of ranch sauce. When I asked for a substitute, I was informed that I would have to pay for the substitute or go without. This policy felt unreasonable, especially since the issue was their mistake to begin with.
To make matters worse, I wasn’t offered an apology at any point. Instead, I left feeling like I was the one in the wrong, as if I had tried to take advantage of the company. The lack of professionalism and customer service at this location was deeply disappointing.
I won’t be returning anytime soon, and I hope management takes steps to improve how they handle customer concerns. No one should leave a restaurant feeling disrespected or...
