I never leave reviews. But I have to today. We spent almost $20 At this location only to be given the worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant period. When we began our order we started with the first kids meal. Not too complicated- just no yogurt: extra fries. Doctor pepper to drink. “DOES THIS COMPLETE YOUR ORDER” ?? Asks the drive through personnel. No it does not. We ordered a double quarter pounder with no bun because of a gluten issue. People do have allergies. “DOES THIS COMPLETE YOUR ORDER”? She asks again. We were still not finished. There are 4 of us. Then we ask for a plain McDouble no cheese- so just meat and bun. We were very clear JUST MEAT AND BUN. “DOES THIS COMPLETE YOUR ORDER”?? No!! Lastly we order a regular ole quarter pounder as it comes and a large sweet tea. She’s asks again half way through us ordering the quarter pounder “DOES THIS COMPLETE YOUR ORDER”?? How rude! Who asks after every single item if that’s our complete order. They were rushing us before we could even pay. We ordered 2 ice cream cones and even though they don’t have the machine working she refuses to tell us .We pull to the window to get our food. The lady asks us what we had. We tell her and she asks for the receipt. You mean to tell me you don’t know what I ordered and you try to keep my receipt? When we received our food , The following issues were found
Double Quarter Pounder had A BUN. Go figure. Printed on the top of the box clearly says “NO BUN”. We kept that burger. Too complicated to send that back as well. The McDouble plain with no cheese had- cheese and all the toppings , onions , pickles , ketchup and mustard. We sent that back . The kids meal had yogurt. We sent that back and got the fries we paid extra for. We received no ice cream and were told after sitting there for 20 minutes waiting on them to correct our order. We get the McDouble back- it STILL HAS THE SAME TOPPINGS AND CHEESE. We had to send it back twice to get it right and got hella attitudes in response. They charged me an extra 40 cents for extra cheese on the quarter pounder meal for whatever reason and there was no “extra” cheese. They gave us a sprite with the kids meal. It is clear. Dr. Pepper is brown. Very easily confused, I know . Right? We are a family from St. Jude. We rarely get to eat out. All we wanted was a good, quick meal for us all to enjoy . We paid way too much for a meal that was rushed and every item was wrong. I don’t even understand how the employees got hired to work there. They were incompetent and rude. It’s freaking Christmas. Even if you hate your job and your life, you don’t project that onto anyone. You smile and practice good customer service. You listen. You comprehend. And you serve....

I went through the drive thru, on a recent work trip to Memphis. The line was long, but to be expected at rush hour time. I got to the first window to pay and things were fine. However, the rude young man I met with when I tried to pick up my order...he should choose another line of work. Sad thing is, I think he was a manager. He asked if I had a specific meal and I politely told him that was not my order, repeating my order to him. He sarcastically repeated, “so you didn’t have the sausage McMuffin then?” I told him again that I did not as he proceeded to sigh, roll his eyes and walk off. He came back with my coffee, which I had asked for sugar and cream inside the coffee, asking me if I wanted cream or sugar. I confirmed that I did and that I requested for it to be in the coffee. He again sighed, rolled his eyes and walked off mumbling something. He left the drive thru window open, so I could hear him complaining to another employee. That employee was sympathetic to him, saying, “it’s ok boo”. Really?! I placed an order and you can’t get it right, yet I treat you with courtesy and you talk about me and it’s my fault? So, I get my order, thank the young man and wish him a better day. For a third time...eyes roll and he walks off.
Lunch time came around and McDonald’s was close, so a co-worker and I decide to go inside to eat, to avoid the drive thru fiasco. After dealing with multiple crazy, homeless people inside, we get our turn in line. The young lady that takes our orders says nothing to us, doesn’t even tell me the total, so I slide my card and pay. She hands me the receipt and I say “thank you” as she stares blankly at me. Seriously, thank YOU for allowing me to spend my hard earned money at your establishment. Some good old fashioned customer service goes a long way. We take our number and search for a table inside that isn’t covered in food and spilled drinks, trash, etc, but to our surprise...they all are. We wipe our table down, wait for over 20 minutes for our food, eat and left promptly.
I get it...it’s McDonald’s and not a fancy restaurant. I’m not asking for 5 star service, just leave the eye rolling, talking about the customers, poor attitudes at home and instead...thank your customers and clean your restaurant.
I would give it zero stars if I could. I think the health department actually needs...
Read moreAWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! The only reason I have gone to this fast food outlet more than once is because it is the reasonably closest one within walking distance of my school/work. (There is also a Checkers nearby but it is outdoors only so no go.) First of all, every time I go here they are ALMOST ALWAYS out of ranch. If this occurred on a one time or infrequent basis, I would not complain but literally EVERY time I go there they don't have any. If you are constantly running out of something, then maybe that's an indication you need to buy more?? Just a thought. I have also been told (more than once) that I could not order a small meal, I had to order the medium (at increased price) because they were "out" of small. Seriously, how are you out of small? That's just ridiculous. And the latest time I went here, it was 10:20 AM and I wanted to order a regular meal, but they told me they were only serving breakfast food. I was in a hurry and so I couldn't wait the extra time. This, by itself would not have been such a big deal since I know (at least now) that this is company policy. HOWEVER, as I was waiting in line for my order, one of the employees started laughing at me because I couldn't get the non-breakfast item and making jokes about how I couldn't wait the 10 minutes. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE SERVICE! After this, NOT RETURNING AGAIN! Will be walking further down the street to...
