Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Memphis

On 2/24/2018 @ 1022 I entered the drive thru line. I waited for more than 30 minutes in the line. Once I got to the speaker to place my order no one came on so after sitting there for more than 5 minutes, I pulled up to the window behind the vehiclebin front if me thinking there was problems with the system. When I got to the window an employee motioned to me that they were closed. I told him I had been in line behind the Tahoe in front of me, he just turned his head and walked off. I sat there for approximately 5 more minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me, but they kept cleaning up. A manager in a green shirt was there, looked at me and kept writing on a pad while some where fixing take home boxes. Finally she had an employee open the window and say "our system shuts down at 11, there's nothing we can do". I told her I've been in line and no one came on the intercom and said we're closed or anything. She shrugged her shoulders and walked off. This is very unacceptable, especially from management. I decided to use my survey receipt, to purchase a large drink to get a free 2 p.c. chicken 🍗🐔 and biscuit. I ordered a Large orange, received a free breast, thigh and biscuit. Alvin Jones took my order, he was very friendly and professional. If needed any employees, Mr. Alvin Jones would be hired immediately. The food was hot 🔥 and fresh. I like to try all of the drink flavors so I only fill my cup up one fourth of the way. I also noticed that the regional mgr was there doing orientation for three new employee's. I pray that everything works out because we need good employees in today's society. The parking lot was clean and the lobby also. The only thing that I noticed that needed some attention was the window's need to be clean including the ledges inside and out. Horrible!! Was told chicken would be ready in 20 mins. Waited almost an hour, along with 4 other cars(drive- thru). Still no food! Finally some one brought out food to car ahead of us, (2 cars)1-1/2 hour later. The car ahead of me and I was still waiting 15 mins later, no food. We both got out of our cars to go in, our order was not ready. Gave our receipts, that's when the orders was filled. On top on that a manager and worker, was arguing, loudly!!
