Starbucks — Restaurant in Memphis

As we grabbed our final purchases of road snacks, my friend Nick and I almost forgot to get coffee. We B-lined straight for the Starbucks inside of the Target… As we approached the Starbucks to order, we were greeted with the morning energy of a delightful person, Corey, as well as the lady making drinks.

I was so tired I couldn’t even figure out what it was my brain was telling me to order, like I had a stroke or something. Haha. We had a few more positive and sarcastic friendly words and finished ordering. We decided we’d start a Corey and Lori show. 😆 I got my drink, and I asked if they could add splash of something because I am an idiot and half awake for our 9 hour drive to NC. And Corey had us all cracking up laughing after what he said, “Nick, do you always hang out people who are extra?” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I am not offended by the least, rather energized by the energy of a good and funny human. Because, well, we’re all a little extra and I am that person who sucks at deciding on coffee choices. 🤣

Thanks for making our morning start off right to our 9 hour drive! There were 2 associates who refused to serve the people standing in line Kathy Tran & Cat. We were standing in line for over 15 mins and when we got to the register, we were told that they were closed. This was horrible customer service and there were multiple people that complained and they didn’t care. They need customer service training. Their attitudes were horrible and they were even saying things to other customers that was ahead of us waiting for their drinks about us standing in line. They need to be fired immediately and when I spoke with Kathy she said they are already cleaning up and not making anymore drinks. I’m telling everybody and all my friends not to visit this...

Christmas Eve afternoon, my family and I stopped into Target to pick up a few last minute gifts. We needed a pick me up to head to our next stop. Starbucks is one of our favorite places to get coffee. There was a line but it was moving fast. To my delight Corey and Taneka was running a tight ship.
