Updated: I've been back twice. My opinion has changed since my first visit. I dont normally change my opinion, but this needs to be said. On my last 2 visits they've let us down. I thought they were going to be a game changer, but they are just like or worse than other fast food restaurants. The first time I went back, there were 16 cars in line. Now if this was Chick-fil-A , that wouldn't be a problem, but with a 5 to 7 minute interval, between orders, I WOULD OF HAD TO WAIT AN HOUR AND 36 MINUTES , to get a burger. On my second visit the next night, there was 19 cars in line. THATS A WAIT TIME OF OVER 2 HOURS. Totally unacceptable. This was at midnight, not normally a very busy time. Whataburger, you have disappointed us. I thought you were going to be, the next great thing. You're just like everyone else or worse. I went to McDonalds and was home eating my food, in 15 minutes. I will try you one more time, but 3 strikes and your out. Fix your problem. Open the inside, open the other drive thru lane. Don't be like everyone else. Your supposed to be better than the other guys. Fix it!!!!
This was my first impression, Just had my First Whataburger. I'm really impressed, and that's hard to do. McDonald's should be very worried. Like, get out your bankruptcy papers. Sell your stock. A new kid is in town. Wendy's, you need to worry as well. We The People don't have to tolerate rude slow service, for an inferior product anymore. Whataburger is gonna change the face of fast food folks. The burger was fantastic, like a real burger! Not a dried out, Luke warm, piece of whatever that is your used to, from the Golden Arches and the little red headed girl with pigtails. They also sell other food, other than burgers, and I can't wait to try their chicken sandwiches. The fries were also a step up from the competition. The employees were enthusiastic, helpful, and happy to be there. The atmosphere is a whole new level. It's charged with enthusiasm and eagerness to leave you with a positive experience. I think Whataburger is gonna take us back to the old days of good fast food and excellent service, like we had back in the 70's, and 80's. Something the others used to have, but have...
Read moreSo excited to find and visit the Germantown Whataburger!! I was on a recent business trip and spotted this Whataburger near my hotel. Being a Florida resident, where we have no Whataburger locations in my area, I'm always on the lookout for Whataburger locations when traveling. The Germantown location appears to be brand new. It sports a new, modern look, exterior and interior. In fact, I almost didn't recognize this location as the building is so modern and the traditional bright orange and white roof is not present. However, the good news, my lunch was delicious. No change with the great food and friendly service Whataburger is known for. Normally, I always order the #1 meal; the single Whataburger with fries. Fortunately, my very nice service associate, Tameka, who took my order, suggested I try the double Whataburger with cheese. Warning: it's a BIG burger! More than I needed. If you order the double, be very hungry! After eating the double Whataburger, I had no need to the eat the rest of day!! My double Whataburger meal included fries and lemonade. As is the "norm" at Whataburger, the food is made to order and served fresh and hot; delivered directly to your table. In addition, you get to choose between regular and/or spicy ketchup! The restaurant facility, including the dining room and ordering area was immaculate. The interior is very modern and has an updated decor. Tameka was fantastic during the ordering process; excellent, friendly and fun personality! The restaurant became very busy and a fairly large line did form. Tameka handled the line by herself. My only suggestion is a second associate position be added during busy periods to improve efficiency and speed. There appeared to be many associates working the kitchen and drive thru, but Tameka handled a huge line herself! Overall, great Whataburger experience! It made my day to find and visit this Whataburger location! I highly recommend Whataburger!! And....Whataburger, if you're listening, please bring Whataburger to the...
Read moreThis has to be the absolute worst service we've ever experienced by the laziest people in TN. We pulled into the drive thru around 6:30am. There were 2 cars ahead of us. The trouble begins at the speaker. It took forever to be addressed. Okay, fine. It's early. They are probably short staffed. When she did finally ask for our order, she was far too concerned with speaking to her coworker. All that being said, the order was eventually taken. It even appeared to be correct! Score a point for this team! Then the waiting begins. Oh, there will be waiting. After 25 minutes, the 2 cars in front of us were finally served. We get to the window. We're handed our drinks and pay. We'll, now we are stuck. They have our money. We can't free ourselves. After another 20 MINUTES, the worker comes to the windows and asks us to confirm our order.....again. During all this, we see no one. Must have been a staff meeting. To clarify, there were at least 3 people working. After all this, we FINALLY get our food. Oh, the food. We order 4 breakfast Taquitos; 2 bacon with cheese / 2 sausage. We received what were clearly yesterday's leftovers. Now, why I don't love this, if you're going to serve me day old food, I would at least expect it to be quick. The Taquitos were all sausage. They added bacon to 2 of them and cheese to all of them. The cheese never touched heat; completely not melted. The tortillas were grilled, I guess. I've never eaten a breakfast Taquito in a crunchy tortilla; wouldn't recommend. Speaking of, those tortillas flaked EVERYWHERE. We had to pull over to dust off. If working at Whataburger is too mentally strenuous, Dollar Tree is...
