Cook Out — Restaurant in Memphis

The lady at the window left something off of my order when I asked for it at the window she said I never ordered that it really ticked me off because I felt like that was the worst reply you could give a customer why would I be sitting in your window asking for something that I didn't order I felt like the better response could have been I'm sorry ma'am I didn't hear that part of your order would you like me to ring you up for that now I had no problem paying if I wasn't charged on the first order but to tell me that I didn't order something that I know for a fact I ordered I also had my son sitting in the car with me and he was like Mom you did order that I heard you ask for it I just thought it was super bad customer service to tell somebody they didn't order something that I know for a fact I'll order my memory is not that bad from the drive-through speaker to the drive-thru window that I would have forgot my order that only had three items on it in the first place I just replied okay and drove off because my first mind wanted to go off on her but I have worked in fast food and customer service in my earlier years of life and I did not want to treat her poorly they would do well to train there employees a little better on how to respond to a customer I stay in Cordova so I usually go to the cookout on that side and I've never had an issue we love that particular cookout we were leaving topgolf that day and decided to order from that one because it was literally like 3 minutes away it definitely rub me the wrong way not sure if I stop at this...

I'm a frequent patron of the Highland and Olive Branch locations, and I was so excited when I found out that we were getting a Cook Out right in our neighborhood. I've been checking every time I drove by whether they were up and running yet, and today was the day! We got two milkshakes (Banana Fudge and Chocolate Chip Cheesecake) and an order of cheese fries. The quality was just what I have come to expect from Cook Out: delicious, and packing much more personality than the average fast food fare. Definitely try the Chocolate Chip Cheesecake shake if you haven't already. To me, it tastes almost like cannoli. I took one star off because our wait time was much longer than I was expecting. However, I'm sure this was due to the fact that they just opened and the staff is still working on getting into the flow. I am confident that on my next visit, they'll be much quicker.

Update: As I hoped, service has gotten much quicker over the last month or so. They've also started giving out extra wide straws with the milkshakes, which helps a lot because those bois are THICC. This is definitely the best late night spot in the neighborhood: you get faster service and better food than any of the other nearby chains (iykyk). Y'all earned...

Literally just left them. Ordered a cookout tray with a burger, cheddar bites, and nuggets. These are the ‘bites’ they gave me. Mind you this location tends to mess up sides from the WC bites, to the fries, to the quesadillas. If it’s not that it’s them having one issue or another with shake orders. But these bites being essentially burnt fryer crumbs is a disappointment. Especially because they burn sides every other visit as well as missing sauce.

Update: I came home to a few of the trays I ordered either having slightly burnt food or in the case of two of five sandwiches missing toppings. I would also like to say the activedeive thru attendant was nice and patient and this particular review applies to multiple food prep staff over several less than quality experiences, not him personally. My point still stands that this location has poor quality...
