Despite my friend recently having a horrible experience with painted earth losing her child’s art work and had bad customer service, I decided to drive an hour with my son there to let him paint a mug for his dad. We got there at 4:54pm and the online it said they closed at 8:00pm but when we arrived they said they were closing and we cannot paint. I begged politely to the worker to please let my 3 year old son paint his dad a mug it only will take him 5 mins I promise and we drove an hour for this and it was for Christmas but they did not even care at all they were all so cold to us. One employee was walking out and she said so rudely “can’t you see that they are closed look around you!” And she waved to the door and said “time to go… come back tomorrow..” I replied “I will not be back thank you.” I don’t get how during the holidays people can be so rude and especially when online it says they are open till 8:00pm. Definitely will not...
Read moreThe place is always clean, employees are helpful and attentive. The items are a bit pricey, but the cost includes studio time and paint as well as the firing/glaze process. $20 for small figures and coffee mugs. $40-$60 for large plates and bowls. They are great about getting you whatever colors you need and have an array of different tools for you to work with. Reservations are expected now, especially on busy weekends. Reservations are good for 2 hours of painting. They are usually pretty lenient on that time limit. Not a ton of pressure to hurry, just a polite reminder when space gets limited and new reservations are coming in. They will pack a "to go" pack for you at no extra charge. This place has classes and party packages in a separate room. You use to be able to bring your Starbucks (next door) at the table, but not anymore during the pandemic. No food and drink inside, but they do have outside...
Read moreTook my 6y old here tonight for a mother daughter date. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. We were explained the painting process, given tips on how to get the best results and offered to choose our painting station. The girl working, I think her name was Lexi, was amazing.. She set up our table with water and place mats and checked on us frequently. The store had many options of items to paint. Xmas ornaments and decor, dishes, coffee mugs, piggy banks, cookie jars etc.. Lots of options. Price was $6 per person plus the cost of the item you painted. I thought it was a bit pricey, but my they do offer a special on Tues that offers 2 for the price of 1 on the $6 per person rate. My plate was $44 and my daughters was $22. It was about $78 for it. But like I said... Very fun, I would...
