Exceptional Experience at SportClips Haircuts with Stylist Elizette Gastelum
I recently visited SportClips Haircuts and had the pleasure of being attended to by stylist Elizette Gastelum. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and valued as a customer. Despite not having an online check-in, the staff efficiently assisted me in creating a membership. Luckily, I didn’t have to wait long as Elizette promptly attended to me.
The absence of appointment requirements is convenient, but having one ensures a faster service. Elizette’s approach was exemplary, as she patiently inquired about my desired haircut, demonstrating care and attention to detail throughout the process. I appreciated being informed about each step and offered the daily special.
Opting for a hair treatment post-haircut proved to be a rejuvenating choice. The eucalyptus enhanced steam towel and tea tree product used during the wash and massage provided a refreshing and invigorating experience. The inclusion of a vibrating chair further enhanced the relaxation, extending beyond the scalp massage to encompass the entire body.
Elizette’s expertise extended beyond the haircut; she recommended suitable hair products tailored to my needs. The salon’s selection of quality products adds value to the overall experience.
In conclusion, I wholeheartedly recommend SportClips Haircuts to anyone seeking exceptional service and hair treatments. Special thanks to Elizette for her time, patience, and personalized care, which made me feel truly valued...
Read moreUPDATE: Meant to update this a week or so ago. The Sports Clips Menifee Manager Elizette contacted me and then had me come back in for a fix up. She did that part herself, including MVP wash, and didn’t charge me anything for the experience. She didn’t even want to take the tip that I eventually gave her. Will go back now. Thanks Elizette!
ORIGINAL: I stopped going to Sports Clips during pandemic as my then-partner just cut my hair. However, that relationship recently ended and so I made my return. I’ve been trying out different locations and got to Menifee store on Haun later than planned due to being unfamiliar with the area. Still there were over 20 minutes until 8pm scheduled close and my hair is already pretty short, so I thought it would be ok. However, the employee at the front noticeably rolled her eyes when I entered. She didn’t give me a name, but said to follow her. I did and she asked what I wanted. I gave my requests and was asking if there was an MVP deal, when I got what felt like a death stare, so I said nevermind, just basic cut. 9 minutes and 30$ later, I left disappointed with the experience. I even went so far as to delete the Sports Clip app because I felt such shame. Not really the vibe you’re aiming for when you get a haircut, no matter the time. Why is this store open until 8p if the employees want to leave earlier? Very awkward. Definitely felt far from an MVP at Sports...
Read moreI'm not going back. No one cares about doing a good job anymore. You overcharge for a haircut and the "stylist" takes maybr 10 minutes giving you a quick cut, leaving it disconnected and not fixing it when you ask them to, not taking any time to look your hair straight on to make sure it's even and lined up, no mirror in the back of the head to show what was done in the back. And then has the audacity to try and blame how it looks on my hair color.
I know this may shock the "stylist" but I actually HAVE had my hair my WHOLE life, anddddddd (wait for it!-) I've been getting it cut the entire time, too! woahhhh It's probably one of the worst cuts I've ever gotten.
Theres plenty of barbers around. Don't waste your time someplace that can't bother to care to do their jobs.
Sports Clips has some company that responds to all their messages with automation (which is painfully obvious). The store owner isn't going to care about this review or likely see it.
This is a FAT WARNING to YOU not to waste YOUR money here. We work too hard to be made to look a fool for...
