I visited a local Verizon store in Murrieta on May 19 , 2023, to sign up for Wireless Business internet. The store manager tried to help but encountered an issue uploading my business documents. I wasted 2 hours at the store, but the store manager still wasn't able to upload the docs, so I left the store feeling exhausted and disappointed.
Later, I tried signing up online but encountered the same issues uploading my documents. When I called customer service, their system didn't allow me to talk to a live person without a Verizon number or account. Then On May 23, 2023, I received an account number via email without providing all my information. When I called again, their system didn't recognize the account number. It was a frustrating experience, especially considering I had planned to switch my family's plan to Verizon. Currently, we have 7 phone lines with AT&T.
On May 24, 2023, I was shopping at Homegoods in the Menifee area. On my way out, I noticed a Verizon store in the same shopping center (30098 Haun Rd Suite 320, Menifee, CA 92584), and the salespeople there were extremely cordial . Unfortunately, they couldn't resolve the issue and had to call the store manager. Right off the bat, the manager seemed arrogant and full of himself. I could only describe him as “ The Captain of the Skimp Ship, sailing through an ocean of small earnings , but thinking that he was the CEO of Verizon.”
He didn't even make eye contact while I was talking to him and simply told me to call customer support. I was shocked by his response, so I asked him if he had thick wax in his ears, as I had already explained that I had tried calling customer support multiple times without success. If I were able to reach the customer support team, I wouldn't be in the store seeking help. He clearly lacked understanding. He thinks he’s a smart individual, but in reality, "He's got a mind like a steel trap, rusted shut!
I know this is a long review, but,IMHO the three salespeople working there were much more professional, and any of them would have been better suited for his position.
It would have been a huge mistake if I had switched to Verizon. I have decided to stay with AT&T because their customer service representatives are far superior to Verizon's.

My bf and I told her that we wanted to get new phones with unlimited welcome plan. When she started setting up our plan she automatically placed my bf on the higher plan and he told her he did not want that plan he wants the lower plan, she said she would change it. Then she added a mobile protection on our plan which we also said we did not want she said she would give us 1 month free which was a lie. She asked if we were going to purchase accessories we said no. She went in the back and spoke with her manager came back out and said they are having a promotion for accessories in which if we purchase accessories for both phones we will get $200 credited to our bill for each phone, then the manager came out and said the same thing. My bf asked them numerous times to explain the offer again and they confirmed what we heard was correct. When we left the store we had to call customer service to change our entire plan because she kept the unlimited plus and added protection for both phones even though we told her we did not want it. I had to call Verizon for 2 months regarding the $200 credit and kept receiving the run around. I went into the store and spoke with Suzie in which she tried to state that we were lying about her telling us about the credit and that she explained that she told us it was Based on us purchasing up to $200 worth of accessories per phone in which we would receive up to $200 based on what was purchased” which was a LIE because my bf asked her to repeat the offer multiple times 2 months ago and she never explained it that way. If you are going to this store, make sure you pay attention to everything and do not accept anything they try to offer you. They are liars & they steal from you. I am never coming back to this store again. I do not want anyone else to have this same experience especially if they have to deal with Susanna and the managers. They will tell you that you are liars and that they cannot do...
Read moreSTAY AWAY!!! Worse customer service ever, had a major issue with a warrantied item, after waiting over an hour to be helped was told I had to wait 5 days for a replacement phone. After complaining and stating that I could not wait 5 days was offered to pay for overnight delivery. I was again not happy with this and insisted on them paying for overnight....after waiting another 20 mins for the store manager to come over (the store had been closed now for 40 mins and she was trying to get everyone out) she came very rudley and basily just wanted to get me out. I informed her I was waiting now well over an hour was very unhappy with a product I bought from them and needed her to stop being rude and listen to my problem and try and reslove it. She explained that all I can do and I will pay for your shipping you will have it tomorrow by 1030am, what more do you want? Well I was unhappy but left anyways and now its 1130am I go to check status of package and it says monday by 530 delivery?????? So I called the store informed the manager on duty I was lied to about a needed delivery of replacement and explained that I am very unhappy. Well turns out he had the staff listening on speakerphone as he informs me the staff remembers it differently and the manager on duty last night went above and beyond her duty by paying for my shipping and helping me. THen went on to say my screen was cracked via the notes shown which was never shown to me. I explained the rep the night before spent 30 mins trying to find how I broke the phone and why I could have broke it to which he found nothing with the phone but apparently still put in the notes he found a pressure crack. I asked the manager if its the policy to just assume the thing is broken by the client to which he said YES, we have an extensive history with these devices and we are usually right in out ASSUMPTIONS!
