Detailed Objective Review Below
Location: Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin.
Cost: Quite expensive for the caliber of food.
Atmosphere/decor: As you enter the small restaurant, it gives a very confusing and chaotic setting and direction for ordering. If dinning in, please know that the seating is tight. Sitting at any table, you will have a wonderful view of the other customers backside (posterior), if not a great whiff. The restaurant had a very full staff upfront and in back, but my order (a #1 and a #3) took forever. However, you could definitely see a young black male with glasses very busy cooking in the back with two managers and a young Caucasian girl standing by doing very, very little to nothing in the back with him. Needless to say, a bulk of the kitchen work definitely seemed to be all on the young black man, not fair, not cool.
The menu/dishes: The restaurant provides us with a detailed, but very concise menu with options. Very expensive for the quality and quantity (approximately $32.00 for a #1 and a #3, of which none of their "combos" come with a drink. A drink has to be added separate of a combo or entree). The ingredients, seasonings and service were in sync, they were poor, very, very salty, but bland (weird right?!), and just not good to the pallet (chicken was too dry and dark). Lets just say this establishment only offers dry-rub seasonings, no mild, medium, or hot sauces whatsoever. No Blue Cheese or Ranch either, just ketchup, honey and some sauce that looks like Big-Mac sauce only. The drink.cups are so small, but quite expensive for the small sized cup you get. You can hardly get a smile out of the Managers, but the chaotic staff definitely led the way in this regard. One last thing, no one greets you or thanks you for coming, POOR. Entering the restaurant is interesting, because you don't really know where to form a line to order your. Everyone that entered was confused, to include me and my party.
Recommendation: Coupled with the high prices, low quality and small quantity of food, please understand it wasn't a pleasant experience at all. For this reason, I highly recommend going to Wingstop, Chick-fil-A or Culver's. My party and I ended up at Culver's tonight. All in all, do better, I wish I could get my money back, but I don't think we'll be...
Read moreStopped in for the 1st time the other day to try this place out. We having been hearing the buzz about there chicken. AND we love HOT CHICKEN! We arrived at a goofy time (3:45PM ish) between lunch and dinner. The place was not very busy when we arrived and that changed rather quickly. Staff were all extremely friendly, smiling, laughing and very helpful to us in suggestions of the menu. Always enjoy when employees are knowledgeable about their products. We ordered several different heat levels to try out. Hot was the best flavor by far we all agreed on. Easy menu with not a ton of choices, which I like to see businesses do especially at when they first open up and are new in my opinion. Be good at what you do then expand! We will be back we all agreed and will be telling our friends. Here are my only two critiques and reason why I didn't rate 5 stars for anyone reading my review. Our food was not piping hot when we got it and that could be because of coming at a slower time of day. They might have used up what they previously cooked kind of thing. Flavors were a 5 star however. After we ate our original food order and the place got busy. I went up to counter and reordered another chicken and it was fresh out of the fryer hot 🔥 & it was delicious. Way better than our first food we got. I mean it was so hot I had to wait a moment to eat it. 2nd comment is a simple fix. The place could have been much more tidy and clean. A ton of staff working behind the counter having fun chatting and working. However the trashes were all full, bathrooms a bit of a mess, tables all needed to be wiped, chairs pushed in and so forth. They very well may have been extremely busy prior to us arriving I have no idea??? This critique does effect the food or its flavor which was dynamite in any way. Just an opinion of how to make the place 5 star 🌟 and stand out. Especially being new to the area. Families these days want clean and sanitary. Cheers and good luck going...
Read moreI am a Nashville, Tennesse hot chicken lover, and I was excited that a hot chicken spot was coming to Wisconsin. However, I had my doubts that it would not bring that same flavor or even be close to the flavor I was looking for. After work I decided let me just try it, it's either going to be great or a waste of my money. Listen here when I tell you, the chicken was so flavorful and juicy, it was just that. FLAVORFUL and JUICY. I ordered medium heat for me and no heat for my family (they don't eat hot food), medium was suggested by one of the cashiers. She said it will remind you of a Nashville chicken. When I got home and took a bite without the sauce and then with the sauce.......I was so HAPPY. It had flavor, it had appeal, and listen they even had seasoned fries, YES seasoned fries with your meal. I had a #3 and my family a #2. OK so I was so eager to try it that I didn't even take a pic of mine right away, it was after that first bite, I said I have to share this. This chicken is GOOODTT. Yes GOOODDTT. The team was awesome, they had wonderful customer service, something I have not seen in a while, and they rocked them orders out. It was a little bit of a wait to order only because it is their opening day. I want to Thank all the employees, cooks, leaders and or managers. You did an awesome job today keep up...
