Auntie Anne's — Restaurant in Mentor

I am so frustrated with this location. It is at the local mall and they don't seem to understand how to schedule people or the preparation of their products. On a recent visit during the middle of a Saturday around 1:30 pm, they were out of everything (food products, not the drinks) and I asked how long for just an original pretzel and they said at least 20 minutes because they hadn't started making them yet. This has become very common at this location, and I'm not sure if that is a result of staffing issues, baking schedule issues, or both. On another visit, Monday, Jan. 24, they were supposed to open at 11:00 am. I was there at 11:18 am (as shown in the picture below) and there was no food prepared or available to purchase, no employees behind the counter at all, and two employees were sitting and eating at a table next to the booth. I'm not sure what was going on there, but clearly, no work was being done. Then today, Sunday, Feb. 13, we stopped by at 3:30pm and they had "temporarily closed" to make a catering order. Again, it's the middle of a weekend shift and you're not taking new orders for what we were told "at least 30 minutes"? It's too bad too because this location used to be reliable and consistent but over the last few years (starting even before the pandemic), it has really gone downhill...

Very disappointed! Visited today 6pm. Waited a few min. In line.. No problem. When it was my turn, I noticed the worker was putting a fresh batch of cinnamon nuggets into the holder. I asked for an order of the fresh ones he just pulled. He proceeded to tell me he just pulled the other ones also. I said no, I want the ones he was just packaging up. He said the others were just as fresh... Now I work in customer service, also go to other restaurants, ie McDonald's, and ask for fresh fries and had no problem getting them. Needless to say I accepted the other ones that were already under the heat lamp.. You know the ones "that also just came out". Definitely not fresh! This was very upsetting, considering I go there a few times a week. I'm a paying customer and he would not give me what...

I normally really enjoy Auntie Anns but this location is consistently not making their pepperoni nuggets lately. When I've asked they've given me attitude saying "No, and I will not make any today" than today I was there and she says, "maybe in an hour." Than as I'm walking away the other worker openly complains about making them. This item is on your menu and I don't feel that it's too hard to ask that you make some. I'd be willing to wait but not for an hour. But it seems...
