Sweet Treats by Shawntel — Restaurant in Mentor

I am SO disappointed with the cupcakes that I purchased from Sweet Treats by Shawntel. She was a vendor at the Tremont Arts and Cultural Festival the weekend of September 16th, 2017. My girlfriends and I were gonna walk to the Cupcakes and Cookies store but then saw Shawntel's kiosk. We got excited because they looked so delectable. I purchased lemon with vanilla icing and double vanilla. When I got home I ate the lemon. It didn't have the lemony flavor that I was anticipating and the icing was not like any homemade icing I've ever had. It tasted just like it was from the can and had that consistency. Unfortunately, the only good thing I can say about the cupcake is that it was moist. I limit my sugar intake and save it for occasions like these when my girlfriends and I do festivals. I found this cupcake to be a waste of calories and will probably not eat the other one. Again, SO disappointed 😕 By the way, one of my girlfriends got the chocolate covered pretzels and said the pretzels were stale. I don't know what happened but it doesn't match up to the reviews...

Love their chocolate covered cookies and the strawberry cupcakes. I hate walking by their stand because I spend too much money great job. 😊 Excellent...
