I placed a pickup order from Chik Fil A on 6/4 and it was the most disappointing Chik Fil A experience I ever had. The employee handling my food turned my salad completely side ways in the bag while he moved/adjusted the other bags on the shelf. The order had taken longer than the app advised to prepare so I didn’t have time to say anything about the salad being on its side or check my order before I left— BIG MISTAKE. The order was completely wrong! I have no idea how or why the chicken (basically the main ingredient) wouldn’t be included on a chicken cobb salad but Chik Fil A figured out a way. In addition to not having any chicken, the remaining salad toppings were bunched and gathered together in the corner of the container instead of being spread around on top of the salad. On top of that, the lettuce looked old and dry! I called the location and was advised I would have to return the same night if I wanted a replacement because they only do same day corrections??? She was also adamant that I bring the original salad back to the store if I wanted them to do anything about the mistake they’d made. Never heard of a policy like that in my life but oh well, 20minutes and another trip to Chik Fil A later, I pulled up with my salad (if you can call it that.) One employee took my salad and handed it to the on duty manager only for him to pop the top off and stare at it with another employee. After that he disappeared with the salad back into the food preparation area and returned minutes later WITH THE SAME SALAD. The only difference was that he added the chicken. The lettuce was still dry/old, and the toppings were still gathered into a corner of the container. He replaced the lid that he’d left on the front counter which had been touched by 2-3 ungloved employees at this point and placed the salad back into the original plastic bag and handed it back to me. It was late, I was tired and I honestly didn’t have the energy to cause a scene but when I got home I immediately placed that disastrous bowl of lettuce in the trash. Complete...
Read moreVery disappointed in the management of this place. A friend and I took our children in yesterday about a quarter to 3pm. The place was packed yes. However, we waited 30 minutes for our food before we saw a large group of young people dressed for a special occasion who came in behind us get there food and were ready to leave. There was about 12 of them. I then was upset because here we have been waiting and are food still hasn't come out. Our order was small. My friend walked up to the counter and told them about us not receiving our food and they responded, "sorry. We'll take a look" and kept the reciepts. After 10 minutes waiting, Nothing! I got up and went to counter and asked to speak to the manager. Manager looked my way and kept working ignoring that I asked to speak to her. At this point i was getting really upset. My friend finally got her food but i was still waiting for mine. Mind you, I'm still waiting at the counter and told the guy who first actually took my order and he said I'll go speak to the manager to come over. The manager still never came ignored that I wanted to speak to her. At this point im so furious I want my money back. A gentleman (worker) comes over asked what I ordered and said I will get your food. Waited even more before he came back and gave me my food. Unbelievable!!!!! I spent 45 minutes waiting to feed my children. My biggest issue is they fed a large crowd behind us and the manager had No consideration to come and talk to me. What kind of management skills do you have to ignore a customer. After waiting that long they should've at least given me my money back and the food. Terrible service!!! I'm sorry but this is unacceptable at a fast food place. My husband used to work for them years ago and knows how they take pride in their customer service. But this was shame to the restaurant and manager. Very sad!!!! God bless and hope that you treat...
Read more2 bad experiences: one - Delivery order Missing lemonade yet it was clearly on the receipt. Their brownies cost almost $4 and are literally one inch wide by one and a quarter inch long. This is expensive as all their items are so I don't understand how they can't afford to pay for good workers that don't miss items on your receipt and don't send food out before double checking an order. Shame on Chick-fil-A!
Two: the workers in the drive through are very distracted even when not busy. I actually pulled in and they went to the car behind me to take their order without giving me a look at all. 3 teenage girls all talking and not paying attention. Then when the girl came to my car to take the order the other 2 followed and they wouldn’t stop talking to each other when I was trying to place my order. I had to interrupt them to get my order in. It was uncomfortable and very unprofessional no matter what age you are. If you’re old enough to have a job you’re old enough to understand professionalism in the workplace. the drive-through wasn’t that busy. the fact that they missed me number one was really annoying but then when they had to follow in a pack and talk and talk and not let me get my order in I was mad. You’re almost criminally high prices should Guarantee good service in return.
I don’t need a manager to respond to this to say that they want to get some further information so they can assist And actually do nothing just as a smoke screen that they’re doing something for the public perception. I would like Chick-fil-A to actually provide food that is comparable in quantity and size that Actually aligns with their pricing because right now the value is not...
