I cannot speak to the subject of the food, as we did not have the opportunity to eat here as we had planned. As in the past, I am always looking for new places to take my family to eat. This particular weekend was no different, with a few exceptions: 1st, when we arrived, I had to go to the restroom after my wife and daughter had let the hostess know the count of our party. The wait was rather short despite the place being relatively packed. (This part turned out to be the only positive experience we were going to have) According to my wife and daughters, the hostess was very rude toward them getting them seated and quickly preceeded to make a massive point about my coconut water, which I have been drinking all of my life and have taken to literally every restaurant on this planet. I had only 1 restaurant prior to this 1 which had asked me if I would mind at least pouring in their glass as to not promote outside beverages. (No problem) and we continued our dining w/ pleasure. Not at this location. Without so much as a respectful or tactful approach, I was met by a forceful manager, backed by a owner whom neither even cared to hear a word I actually had to say. I attempted to explain I have never, nor ever will consume alcohol, so the "alcohol" conversation is honestly mute point. Az law does not actually prohibit anyone from bringing their own non-alcoholic beverage into a restaurant, True reason is loss of revenue, not being understanding, accommodating, while simultaneously being aggressive and rude is the best deturant of revenue. If the concern is they could choke, then that could happen w/ their products, why not offer a liability waiver? Anyway, I guess you would have to be there to experience how smug, rude and overall unwelcoming they all were. Here is a suggestion, instead of being prices about ur "policy" try offering your guest a similar replacement drink on the house instead of a smug glass of attitude. Ultimately we ended up at a much nicer location, food their was excellent, & not an eye batted at my...

Let me start by saying I don't think we've ever left a restraunt and didn't let them remake or fix our food, UNTIL TODAY! Our server was fine, she felt bad for us and was embarrassed. The manager was embarrassed as well, which she should have been. We got to the Hen House a little before noon. I saw two servers counting ours and maybe six tables were sat. It took until 12:30 to get our food. We can live with that, but it was a long time considering they were not busy. My husband ordered biscuits and gravy. I do not exaggerate, the biscuits were so hard my knife would not go thru them. At least one person had to know the biscuits were not edible and should be thrown out, I do blame the cook for that. I ordered eggs cooked very soft with runny Yolk to mix with my potatoes, meat and toast. My eggs were over cooked, my potatoes were luke warm at best, my toast was ice cold. I didn't try the meat. Normally we ask them to remake or heat our food up. I would have happily let them fix mine if the biscuits would have been edible. There's just no excuse for that, it makes me wonder how old is the food they're serving? Is it out dated, stale, spoiled, do they follow health dept laws and codes? It's somebody's job to check the food everyday and make sure it's safe and fresh. We each had a soda and were happy to pay for it and they were happy to charge for it. I did think that was a little on the tacky side, we had maybe drank a half a glass. I was in the industry almost all my life and I never once remember anyone getting charged for a soda if they didn't eat the food. When we left they should have had a lunch rush, only one table was seated after us. I think the reason for this might be obvious. I do wish them well and I hope they can survive, changes def have to be made. This was at the Dobson location.

I had to edit to let people know the prices online do not match the menu prices. There is a $2.00-$4.00 difference on the items...

So, this was my first time in and it will be my last. When we walked in the young man who seated myself, daughter and mother in law- seemed very bothered that we were there, then seemed to get irritated when I asked him for a booster seat for my toddler-he also didnt give us a kids menu. After we were sat it took about 10 minutes to get our drinks, my daughter got hers first. Our waitress forgot lemon for both of our drinks and the entire time there we never got them. We were sat for about 15-20 minutes after that before our order was taken. Then another 20 minutes before our food arrived at the table. Again, my daughter got her food first-now if you have a child or a toddler the portion size of the pancake was almost ridiculous, it was so huge.. her eggs were supposed to be over easy and they came out overdone, and she got 1 piece of bacon. WARNING! if you're going to order a burger.. you get NOTHING on it other than meat and a bun.. the server also didn't ask if I wanted lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mayo.. nothing! My mother in law asked for all that I didn't bother. My mother in law also ordered her burger without a bun and literally only got a beef patty with 2 slices of bacon and a slice of cheese on top-Her burger was undercooked and mine was okay. I asked for ranch for my fries and that was another 5 minutes of waiting. Over all we were there for over an hour and half of that was just sitting and waiting. We never got refills on any of our drinks, the server never checked in to ask how everything was or if we needed anything. Also, $3.50 for a drink?! That again we never got a refill on! Even the childs drink was $3.50. The atmosphere was very unsettled and i personally felt VERY unwelcome.. It was honestly a very poor experience and we will...

Delicious! Probably the best hollandaise sauce I have ever had. The pictures were from our first visit. The Texas Benedict is an interesting twist on the traditional served over moist cornbread cakes, crispy potatoes on the side. Today we tried the Irish Benedict and it was equally interesting ( unfortunately they were out of the potato pancakes but they subbed them with their home style potatoes which were fine) The corned beef was moist and delicious. Chicken and waffles was fantastic...but what really sealed the deal on our experience was the service. Our server Candace was lovely and the owner Brett was going from table to table warmly greeting everyone while his wife worked the expo window. You could see the whole crew working together as overwhelming as the morning rush was everyone was smiling being polite and getting it done. Each visit has been delightful and we will definitely keep coming back. Shopping local and spending local is what it is about...this family business makes it worth the while. Excellent quality to value the portions are all generous and you can start yourour day drinking early if that is your thing with reasonably priced beverages and libations. Highly encourage you check them out...if there is a wait, it is worth it.

We went yesterday morning, my friends favorite place. It was busy as expected, being it was Memorial Day, our wait was only 20 minutes. We were seated and we got a chance to look at menu and decide if we would change our usual, we didn't. I love the Belgium waffle breakfast with eggs and bacon....definitely could use more syrup, but you work with What you get. So our server comes and takes our order, then brings us our coffee and water. 2 refills on the coffee, no food, our server was grumpy. People finally started to leave, the rush was over. 30 minutes pass and she comes and says "you're food is coming, they tried to say order????" We just smiled and said OK...then we finally get our food, my scrambled eggs were runny, you would have thought the food would be hot 🔥not! Very few fried potatoes and like my side of Strawberries for $1.99 (a side) 4 small sliced up. I'm hoping this was just a fluke as I've never been so disappointed and we go there at least once a week. Today 7/9/24 I got the usual Belgiumwaffle, scrambledeggsand bacon, was surprised my waffle was like rubber for some reason, hard to cut even with a knife. Eggs and bacon were good.
