Today was my 1st time in, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised! Right off the batt I noticed that all the customers as well as employees were wearing masks, which is super nice to see since a lot of other coffee shops I've been to have not been enforcing masks while customers are sitting inside. The man at the register was very welcoming and friendly. I was super excited to hear that they had 2 different types of nitro coffee's. I got the light roast the Ethiopian, and the dark roast Mez (I cant remember the full name). As chilled coffees they both had strong flavors, they weren't weak. The light roast did taste slightly more acrid to me but I usually like dark roasts more anyways. I think the nitro would have tasted more smooth and had a better head to it if they allowed more nitrogen gas to infuse in the coffee. It seemed like maybe the tank was low. I got a large latte for my boyfriend. It was SO good. The espresso was so smooth, and came with 4 shots. Over all I was super satisfied with the nitro coffee and the latte. The atmosphere was very welcoming and it was nice to look at the art while waiting for the order. I will...

Long story short, this used to be one of my favorite cafes until today. I would rather go to starbucks, at least they have better service.

I loved my first impression of this cafe and appreciated the sign they had saying “Hatred has no home here”; they also made me feel welcomed whenever I visited! I enjoyed and appreciated this cafe since trying it out the first time and told & brought my friends to try out as well. Always had positive experience, appreciated their friendly service, and good food and coffee. Unfortunately, today’s experience ruined it for me. The cashier lady who was there today was RUDE. No greetings whatsoever, which is fine. But when I asked if they had food menu, she only said yeah. Well, I couldn’t find the menu really other than the pastries on the side, so I asked again what kind of food do you have? and she said “it’s there” as if I was being dumb and pointed with her chin to a tiny little black board thing behind her - I couldn’t even see that clearly from where I was standing and it's TINY, almost even hidden. I really did not expect this attitude at all and I’ve never seen her whenever I visited...

I was spending the day with my son after getting chicken up the street. I'm trying to get him out of the house and see things interesting he sat just looking around for 30 mins without saying anything. He's 15 and had taken a shine to one of the women behind the counter. I didn't say anything but I asked him do you think she's cute? I do, tell her you like her outfit and leave it at that. He did and she said thank you. I like the whole setup of this coffee shot tons of art that is for sale and I have my eye on one of the pieces and thinking about buying it.

I walked around to other area of the coffee shop to find a large dinner table with 5 students at it with their laptops and heads down books open schools are closed right now as it's christmas. I've seen where coffee houses only allow you to be there an hour or as long as your buying things.

The ice'd coffee I got was great and the staff was polite. In the end you want people to return we will return.

Good Luck out...

Lowkey Date Idea in Mesa, Arizona, that’s under $20!!! ☕️🖼🛍 Taking a short 15 minute drive from Phoenix, here is a 4-stop date idea that you need to try out ⬇️ Stop 1: Taco Chiwas I had the al pastor burrito and it was 🤌🔥 Stop 2: Proof Bread Proof is an artisan bakery that takes their sourdough bread to the next level. Try their morning buns!! Stop 3: Jarrod’s Coffee This coffee shop is known for more than their coffee. Their shop doubles as an art galley and they even host live music and poetry nights! Stop 4: Mesa Thrift Store I always love stopping in here when I’m in Mesa! Their clothes are super cute and affordable 👏 All four stops are in walking distance of each other except the thrift store which you could drive 5 mins to reach :) Follow us for more date ideas!! 🫶 @visitmesa #mesa #arizona #phoenixarizona #dateideas #thingstodo #coffeeshop #daytrip #bakery #thriftstore

Cozy little coffee shop. Definitely a different vibe, very artsy, feels like something you'd find in downtown Phoenix near the ASU campus. I'm not usually one for the whole hippie Portlandia aesthetic but this place is neat. It's a fun place to hang out. We popped in for breakfast and coffee. There was a young woman playing violin inside (that sea shanty was sick by the way, props). Staff was very friendly. There's a decent selection of different breakfast and lunch sandwiches, some bagels and baked goods prepared fresh on site. I enjoyed my jalapeno cheese bagel and coffee. What really set this place over the top for me was the restroom. It has to be the best restroom in all of Mesa (maybe all of Phoenix?). It's magisterial. There's also an outdoor dining area and vendor booths selling a variety of little knick knacks (jewelry, stickers, even artwork). Pretty neat. Parking is a little funny since it's situated in a neighborhood.
